Saw a sign on the main road pointing down the street to Wishing Stone that read«Farmer’s Market Today», so I couldn’t help but stop here after a beautiful day at Goosewing Beach. Picked up some homemade dill pickles(YUM), local goat cheese, fresh, beautiful golden beets, pesto, some delicious local tomatos(there’s nothing like a fresh tomato in the middle of the summer!!) a quart of local honey, and some of the sweetest, plumpest blueberries I’ve ever eaten. They also had a good variety of greens, fresh cut herbs and flowers, prepared meals such as quiches and pies… a decent selection of local and New England-local cheeses… as well as free-range eggs, chicken and beef. Very friendly staff and a beautiful dog sleeping peacefully out in the yard. Try their homemade lemonade!
