American Deli

Terrible customer service please do not spend your time or money with this location. All I want is good food not a gentlemen with an attitude selling sub par food.

This place is not at all like the other American Deli locations I’ve visited in downtown Atlanta.
This one is staffed by people who are lazy, loud, and sloppy. The food that you get reflects on this.
Food at this location was super greasy, wet, and overall: disgusting.
It is best not to associate this location with the other American Delis.
It just seems like very poor management and an overall lack of care for what they are doing.

I’ve been hearing about this spot for a while but this was my first time actually checking it out. I’m glad I did because I enjoyed my food. I was a little hesitant because I didn’t see any reviews about it on here but I decided maybe I should be the first.
I posted a picture of the menu so you can decide what you want before you arrive. It appears to be a pretty busy spot. While we waited for our food and ate, lots of people were coming in and out.
I asked the cashier what she eats from there and she said the Philly Cheesesteak. I decided to try that (without mushrooms of course) and I was pleased with my decision. Mine was beef and it was very tasty and flavorful. All of the ingredients complemented each other. I really have no complaints about it. It wasn’t as good as the one from Cypress Pint and Plate or Mad Italian but it was up there in the ranks. I had the combo with fries and a drink and I was pretty full by the time I was done.
My friend had the 5 wings and gyro combo. It doesn’t come with a drink or fries so keep that in mind. He had the lemon pepper wings. If you prefer your wings fried hard, make sure you say it because he didn’t and unfortunately he wasn’t too happy with them. He also said his gyro was really salty.
Overall I would give the experience a 3.7 which is why I give it a four. I would check them out again, especially since its not far from my house.
