Very helpful staff. Upon walking in the door an employee almost immediately asks what you are looking for. This is a huge help and saves a ton of time and frustration for me. You can always find someone to help. In addition to meeting most of your home improvement needs, they also sale guns, ammo, and hunting gear! One of the only reasons it gets 4 stars, and not 5, is because they don’t sale fishing gear. Great store and great location.

Crossroads Ace — Come for the home improvement help, stay for the racism!
Now, I’m not a black man. And, try as I might, I doubt I’ll ever be one. But listening to a fat old racist tell fat old racist jokes to cashiers is a little offensive. And instead of the cashier saying «hey tone it down, there are kids here» or «that’s pretty offensive» or «THIS IS A HARDWARE STORE NOT A KLAN MEETING AND BY THE WAY THERE’S A BLACK GUY IN THE NEXT AISLE» she said «Hahaha, oh, you’re bad.»
The customer then went outside and told the exact same joke to the employee out there, which elicited the same basic response.
They are pretty helpful though, so bonus star for that. Also they sell guns if you need to shoot stuff.

This is a family run neighborhood store that supports mon profit organizations. I recommend Ace Hardware over Home Depot and Lowes. The staff is extremely helpful and makes sure you find what you are looking for. I prefer this location (Lithia-​Pinecrest and Highway 39) over the Bloomingdale location.

I was so surprised to see baseball and softball equipment being sold here. Also there was a young lady who told me everything I needed to know and more about bungee cords and rope. She was pleasant, polite and helpful!
