UNDERNEWMANAGEMENT Don Claudio’s taqueria is killer! best tacos in Douglas county. Very friendly family owned and operated business. I have literally tried pretty much everything on the menu and never had a bad experience. The two times the messed up my order they promptly fixed it. Authentic Mexican, reasonably priced and speedy times. My roommate and I probably eat there 3 – 5 times a week since the owner change because we can’t get enough of there delicious tacos.

The group of youth who work here are very nice young men and attentive! They are always playing Rock en Español, which I love! Takes me back to California. The food is authentic Mexican; they have tortas, sopes and pozole(on weekends). The horchata is good, but I have yet to taste their other aguas frescas. Service is fast and food is out fresh and hot.

I came here because a co-worker of mine was bragging about it and he knows how much I love Mexican food… so it was pretty good… I had 3 chicken tacos with rice and beans… the chicken was a little dry but everything else was good. The place is small… there is enough room for about 10 people to sit… very quaint and sits on a remote corner of an intersection so you really have to be looking for it or just happen to glance over at the center it is in while sitting at the light. I enjoyed it enough to go back and try some other dishes.

The phone number is 678−602−2166 or 770−504−5426. They are open on Sunday’s. I really enjoyed my Taco’s one Asada and one Chicken. I like the Asada better but they were both very good. I came in on a Sunday mid afternoon after finding their business on Unilocal.I wanted wings. I ordered BBQ Wings. The young lady at the cash register did tell me that she could make my BBQ wings spicy or any combination of sauces that I wanted. The location is a nice size and I must have just been hungry because I did not realize this was a Mexican restaurant until I walked in and saw the TV on the Telemundo channel. Yes! I know the name of the joint is «TACO Wing»! But I said I was hungry. Dang! There were two customers ahead of me. My wait was about 20 – 30 minutes. A little long for some wings. The wings were just okay. I am going to stick with the Mexican dishes. But if I am in the mood for wings and near that end of Douglas County then I will stop here for them!

Well I finally got a chance to stop in this little place. I am really glad I did. I ordered a couple tacos(one chicken one steak). Well I was shocked that they are HOMEMADECORNTORTILLAS!!! You just don’t find that, especially not at a little hole in the wall in lithia springs. The green sauce they gave me was good too. While checking out the menu, it looked really promising. They have some kinda neat combinations of taco’s and chicken wings, I have never seen that before, but think it is a great idea. They also look to have a lot of kid friendly dishes.(Mc Donalds prices, but better stuff) I got a to go menu and it has Philly cheese steaks. I like tacos too much so I will probably never try those. But if your pal doesn’t like Mexican, you have options here. The people who work here seem very friendly. They have some sweet empanadas in the case at the register. I asked what kind. They said pineapple. Well not a favorite of mine, but they told me Pumpkin next week. WHAT!!! Oh yeah, I am there. I haven’t had a pumpkin empanada since I lived in Detroit! So I will be making a stop in there next week. Now my only complaint, and it really isn’t a complaint It is sorta funny. When looking at the menu it shows that they have cookies(I didn’t see) 3 for $ 1.00 well if you want to buy a dozen you get the bargain price of 4.50. Now I am not a math wizard, but suffice it to say I guess if I like their cookies, I won’t buy a dozen. Thats probably good for my diet anyway. All in all I see this to be a pretty good place. Decent prices, kid friendly, and HOMEMADETORTILLAS. Why fight it, just go have a philly cheese steak and tell me how good it is, I’ll believe you. Oh and does anyone else think that sriracha honey chicken wing sauce shouldn’t be more common! Just saying…

This restaurant is a feel good family restaurant. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Prices are reasonable and the kids meals are very affordable. My kids love their cheeseburger kids meals and at $ 2.99 you cannot go wrong there. The lady that is always there when we order food is very friendly and always handles things efficiently.
