The Spa at Litchfield Hills

I recently got married and the day before the wedding my bridesmaids, mother, mother-​in-​law, a few other family members and myself went for manis and pedis. All of the ladies did a lovely job and all of our nails were beautiful. The spa atmosphere was wonderful and relaxing. The people were so accommodating and pleasant. We brought food and some bubbly to enjoy during our appointments and they very kindly provided everything we needed for it.
I would highly recommend this spa for wedding parties. It was a perfect and relaxing morning before my wedding.

I’m a bit of a spa-​fanatic and finding a good one can be hit or miss when I travel. I am staying at Litchfield Inn for a wedding and am SO happy I made a last-​minute appointment yesterday for a spa mani and mini-​pedi. Lori was absolutely phenomenal, detail oriented and the kindest woman. Loved her.
I enjoyed the spa so much that I made an appointment for an 80-​minute deep tissue massage today. Tony was one of my best massages I’ve ever had, and I go every 2 – 3 weeks at home to some very talented therapists. He was able to do the deep work in my trouble spots and had such a light touch where I need it (head, etc.) His hip work was the best I’ve ever had.
Love this spa. I only wish I lived nearby!

I recently got married at the end of June and my bridesmaids and I visited the salon for our wedding hair and makeup. What a great decision! Not only was the salon beautiful and inviting for a full day of pampering and picture taking, the staff was also extremely delightful to work with! We were made to feel very at home and as if the whole salon was ours for the day (we were there for 4 hours!) Prior to arriving that morning, they created a schedule of which stylist would work with which member of the wedding party and when. This made the day flow smoothly and helped all 8 of us get beautiful within the timeframe we had.
I, in particular, was worked on by Lindsay that day for my hair and makeup and I cannot say enough great things about what an amazing job she did. She created the exact hairstyle I had envisioned after only looking at a few idea photos and hearing me say, «but not exactly like that, kinda like this, with a little more of that…» And the makeup was exquisite! Such talent at the spa at litchfield hills! I wish i could have a wedding every year so those ladies could make me feel that beautiful over and over again! I highly recommend choosing this salon for your day of wedding hair and makeup!!!

As someone who has had many massages, Jeffery is the best! All the staff are good but Jeffery is great!

The spa is Great– Haircuts for guys, or giftcards for mothers day, valentines day, or girlfriends birthday. The spa is as good as it gets in Litchfield or NYC area… Owner is great too!

I’ve had one pedicure here and over ten hair treatments. I cannot compliment the staff enough — front desk, stylists, aestheticians are all so calming and talented. The salon’s hours are fantastic although the prices are a bit steep — salon is absolutely spotless and serene; worth every penny but I might go more often if incentives were offered. I can’t afford to indulge in anything other than cover my greys!

In the days following a rush of wonderful, stressful, life-​changing and totally overwhelming events, I was in desperate need of a break from reality. The road was calling my name and, having grown up in CT, Litchfield County has always been a favorite destination for quick escapes.
The staff at this spa was so wonderfully helpful in arranging a day full of treatments and down time. They don’t have a large changing or waiting room like a bigger spa would, but I was lucky enough to have their small relaxation room (with an idyllic view!) to myself while I was there. I started with a massage (ashiatsu — something different!), read my book for a bit under a comfy throw, headed into my facial, had a lovely lunch, and then wrapped up the afternoon with a manicure and pedicure. I called home once to ensure everyone that I would be home by dinner (although I was tempted to stay the whole weekend…) but the day was my own and I was so grateful for the quiet, amazing treatments and attention to detail.
I’d recommend this spot to those close by and especially anyone down in Fairfield County. It’s an easy and scenic drive up to Litchfield with lots of cute towns and shops to swing through. I was originaly planning on spending the night (dinner at Doc’s in Kent, a good night’s sleep at the Inn at Kent Falls, yoga in the morning) but the day trip proved to be enough of a retreat to get myself back to where I wanted to be.
