Super 8 Motel – Litchfield

In short, I advise that you spend the extra few bucks and get a room somewhere else. Unless you like to be treated with disrespect and like a common criminal.
My experience… Was horrid! After spending 18 hours traveling I just wanted a hot shower and a comfy bed.
First, of all the place just looks ran down. Yet apparently it is a «new construction»!?
The carpet are stained and worn down.
Second, the hot water heater may work but the beds are not comfortable.
Yet after a long trip I really couldn’t care.
What I DID CARE ABOUT…
WAS that in the morning when me, my boyfriend and his brother came down for the complementary breakfast; we were harassed about even being customers at the hotel. And once my boyfriend confirmed that we were, the receptionist ask if he was sure. She informed us that they have problems with vagrants coming in to stay and eat. So of course we were offended that we were harassed as being vagrants. When we clearly all checked in the night before.
Then the receptionist «friend» (which she was chatting up when we came down, unprofessional to have friends hanging around at work if you ask me. Takes the focus off the customers.) sat at a table in the breakfast area and stared us down with an unfriendly look the whole time we tried to choke down the horrible breakfast.
The only thing in the complementary breakfast worth eating was the cereal. The toast and biscuits were both hard. The gravy had a taste of coffee (which my boyfriends brother witnessed that they ran the water used for the gravy through the coffee maker, which explains the taste. Yuck!) The orange juice tasted water. And worst of all NO COFFEE!!!
So of course we were unsatisfied with this service and sent an email to corporate, which forwarded it right to the hotel themselves. And we were informed that the hotel supports the way we were treated and that they were sorry that we had a bad experience, but that this is the way that they run it and it was all by the book.

Desperate times call for desperate measures.
Staying here was out of pure tired desperation.
$ 77 for one night and two Queen beds — not as cheap as I was expecting from this hole. Seriously, save your souls and pay a little extra for the Holiday Inn Express next door.
Ultra thin walls, stained carpet all over the room and hallways. A coffeemaker in room with no pot. We walked into the room and the window was opened. No air conditioning even though it was hitting 100 degrees that day. We could hear people walking in the room above us and seriously, it was so loud it sounded like they were going to cave in on us.
So many things wrong and nothing right. Yuck!
