I attended this year’s festival and had a great time. The music was great, the outdoor setting was wonderful. The price was right. Yes there are kids there, but they do not overwhelm. And I don’t see how they would interfere with any adults’s enjoyment of the live Jazz. These are well behaved teenagers, not run amock preschoolers. Granted, I was not surprised because my own teenage son participated in their camp the two weeks preceding the festival, and he got to perform at the festival on the student stage. Nevertheless, I, for one, am thrilled to see kids enthusiastic about learning and playing Jazz! It means that maybe it is not a dying art form after all. And there are some pretty talented kids.

They are running a «kiddie camp.» Not that I object to teenagers, but the rest of us should KNOW their policies Before putting our money down. This explains why very few adults are signing up any more. But the jazz camp staff is not concerned about their needs any longer it appears.
