Solid pizza. Great flavor. A tad salty, but I’m not a salt guy. Price was right. Service was fast and easy. Great seating on the outdoor porch. Very good service!!!

I don’t normally write reviews unless something about a restaurant is really good or really bad. In this case… bad. I ordered pizza and the owners acted like I was bothering them. Their pizza isn’t so great that I am willing to be treated disrespectfully.

Excellent experience! We had just come from a bad restaurant and decided on pizza. The girl at the desk was helpful in suggesting a great option for us, and the pizza came out in about 10 min. It was just what we needed!

If youre a fan of new york style pizza life every other great american, youll probably hate this place. The dessert portions are microscopic, for 4 dollars i was expecting a decent slice and ended up with a sliver. The«large» drink was smaller than a red solo cup but was still the price of what you think would be a large. The service was also fairly rude, including tip into the bill also was an annoyance to many people. Over all its over priced for food that is nothing special.

We have a cottage on bantam lake. Every year the first think we do in bantam is go to Bantam Pizza. We think about it all winter. We want to marry this pizza. Its amazing. My daughter was writing friends about it. Fresh sauce perfect crust. And the bread on the grinders is soft and crunchy and fresh. Wow

I crave the pizza here. I can taste it on the way up from New York. The place has been here for decades and their consistent quality has guaranteed them a loyal fan base. The baked ziti with sausage is scrumptious and always comes with garlic bread. Very nice.

Ordered a buffalo chicken pizza first time and it cane with tomato sauce on it which was disgusting, tried again ordering a buffalo chicken pizza this time specifying for it not to have sauce and it was simply a sauceless pizza with strange tasting breaded chicken on it. Unfortunately both times I had ordered it was to go and i did not check the pizza until I had gotten home. Also the owner seems to be very rude, he was talking on the phone(not to a customer) while I went to pick up my pizzas on one occasion and on another I followed him out the front door only a few steps behind him and he shut the door in my face. I will never go there for anything ever again.

I have been eating at Bantam Pizza for as long as I can remember. That being said for as long as I can remember the pizza has been delicious and consistent. Definitely worth the stop!

We just stopped here on our way home from Kent Falls. Cute place very small and quite. We ordered a large pizza and fries. The pizza come out probb like ten mins after we ordered it, which I was really impressed with. Good pizza a lot of cheese. The waitress was nice. I would probably end up going again to try their grinders if I’m in the area.

This establishment has been around for years. They have the best pizza around. The prices are very fair and the choices are great! Friendly and very accommodating. I give Bantam Pizza 5 golden pizza paddles.

The pizza is pretty good. It has a medium-thick crust that is fairly soft. They put plenty of cheese on it. The restaurant had maybe a dozen indoor tables and is well used.

Have been a customer of Bantam Pizza for over 12 years. They have offered consistent, reliable service for as long as we can remember. If you like a thicker Greek style crust, you will love this place. We usually order an antipasto salad and a medium or large pizza for take out every couple of weekends… Always fresh, hot, and consistent. We seldom eat in anymore and the atmosphere is family crowd and the restaurant a bit on the small side, but a good eating experience just the same. Oh and the grinders are good too!

I love this place. We usually get take-out, but the staff is always super friendly. The pizza here… I don’t have words. It is so good. SOGOOD. Ever since I ate my first slice, I crave it. They use awesome, fresh, local ingredients. My mom lives in Litchfield, so we usually get it when I visit her, but there are times when I would seriously drive the thirty-five minutes each way just to pick up a pizza. Worth it.

I’m not a fan of their style of pizza but that doesn’t mean it isn’t good, it’s just that I prefer thin crust while theirs is more of a thick Greek style. Even so, I have eaten dozens of their ‘zas when they were the only game in town and they were just fine. They’re not the only game in town but I still like to come here. Their grinders are what keep me coming back though, and they’re reasonably priced. Their meatball grinder is without a doubt the best anywhere. It’s a well-known secret that they have a killer meatball sub. Great for take-out, but eating onsite can also be fun. It can get kinda crowded on Fri & Sat nights and with the take-out folks lining up alongside your table you’ll inevitably get asked by one of them what you ordered and how good it was. We’ve invited take-out patrons to have a beer with us if they have to wait for their order and met some new friends. Always toasty warm and cozy on a cold NWCT evening and everyone there seems to be in a good mood. Not a big place but familiar and homey with a decent menu and salads that you wouldn’t expect from a place with ‘pizza’ in it’s name. Good food and reasonable prices.

Hmmm, well I really like this place. I’m not a big fan of eating here. It is really a take-out place to me. When I eat here(done it twice) I feel like I am dining in their living room or something. So now the food, the pizza is ok. It’s a little too greasy for me, but I think it’s because there is quite a bit of cheese on their pizza. I don’t go crazy over the pizza but the Antipasto Salad… now we’re talking. They have the best dressing for this salad I have ever tasted. Just the right balance of flavors. Even the salad has awesome ratios of all the ingredients. Also, the meatball grinders are great here. Roll is crusty, and the meatballs are sliced in there which is excellent. Only way it should ever be. Meatball is good quality and is very flavorful. Sauce is great and peppers are good. Portion is good sized. I can split a small with someone else and be satisified. I can probably house a small by myself if I’m hungry and just killed it at the gym or something but other than that the small is for two people. Enjoy this place for great pizza take-out in the Bantam area. You can’t go wrong.

Not quite deep-dish but close. Hearty pizzas with generous toppings are very reasonably priced. This is not a place to live out your artisanal fantasies. But if you’ve been hiking or swimming in the area, nothing beats a filling, tasty meal here. The service is warm and friendly, and the interior is low-key. Great neighborhood find.

Bantam Pizza has some pretty amazing«pizza joint» fare at pretty reasonable prices. Getting a fresh deep dish pizza or a toasted grinder here will not disappoint. Their soups and specials are always good. The wait staff is friendly, helpful and extremely attentive to anything you want or need if you decide to dine in the recently renovated and very clean restaurant interior(though for many the smaller size makes it a take-out only zone). But what I have come here to tell you all is that the salads are AMAZING. Their house salad dressing is the stuff of dreams. Its creamy, herby, and sent from God himself. When you order a chef salad and mix the house dressing in with all the cheese, cold cuts, and fresh veggies, you are transported to another world. It also tastes divine for pizza crust dipping so order an extra! Seriously I lived in Boston for 8 years and ate at thousands restaurants from 1 to 5 stars but I never, NEVER had a salad dressing as delicious as the house dressing from Bantam Pizza. I think it might have some sort of magic in it.

Today was our second visit to Bantam Pizza and it the food was just as yummy as the first time! Both of us had a slice of pizza and, even though it was just at the start of lunch on a Sunday, I was pleasantly surprised to find the pizza fresh. Delicious sauce and a generous amount of quality mozz on top. The crust was perfectly cooked and not at all dry. We also split an order of fried mozz and that was equally wonderful. It looked fresh made with just the right amount of breading over fresh mozz. I look forward to stopping in again the next time we pass through Bantam on our way back from the Elephants Trunk.

I’m running away from Hurricane Irene and heading back to the fam’ in Connecticut. Since I’m up here let’s try out some of the other restaurants in the area, shall we? Bantam Pizza — my brother speaks so highly of you. I stopped by for a pepperoni pizza takeout. Upon opening the box, I’d characterize the pizza as deep dish. Certainly not a thin crust. Plenty of cheese, and they didn’t skimp on the pepperoni either, which is nice. The tomato sauce is sweet-tasting, so maybe they add some sugar? The interior is nice, but small. The food seemed to come out on a paper plate, so don’t expect the highest culinary experience. All in all, a nice little pizza place. Not the best pizza I’ve had(compared to NYC), but for the area it’s a solid choice.
