Salon Glow

I guess I was wrong, Salon Glow is still great but Brandi doesn’t return my calls or texts and all I want to do is schedule an appointment, worst I don’t why. Guess she wasn’t my friend after all. A stylist should not shun you for no reason, but that’s what she did. Oh well take my business elsewhere.

I came to Danielle after a number of bad hair experiences and could not be happier! She listened, gave advise, and my hair turned out better than I envisioned! I’m looking forward to many more happy hair days thanks to Danielle!

I go here for my tanning vice each time I plan an out of town vacation and need some base. They offer a one month unlimited tan pass in their regular beds, but I notice I need to pay an additional $ 20 each time upgrade to the ‘mac daddy’ of beds. This is the only time I notice significant color. The staff is friendly. Décor typical.

A perfect find for our pre wedding pampering! Warm friendly staff and environment along with a fantastic cut and style. We will look forward to returning on our next trip to Phoenix!

Renee’s been doing my hair for about 6 years and I followed her from her last place. I give Renee 5 STARS!
As for the salon itself, it’s a busy place and the stations are close together so it feels a bit cramped. Overall the staff has been extremely friendly, though.
One thing that I wish they would change is the chairs in the hair wash station. I’m rather short and my feet don’t rest on the floor which hurts my back when my hair is being washed. I wish they would consider upgrading their chairs with a foot rest.

Upon arriving, my first impression was not exactly favorable, to say the least. As ‘Boot Scoot Boogy’ played audibly in the background, I observed multiple walls of Ed Hardy-​esque merchandise. The waiting area was littered with unoccupied aestheticians and employees — I had to ask one of them to move over on the sofa so I could sit down to fill out paperwork.
Passing multiple tanning rooms, I was shown to the single facial room — this hodge-​podge of salon services is clearly more tanning-​bed focused. All throughout the facial I found it difficult to relax because I continuously heard the loud conversations of the lobby employees — I know what they are making for dinner, when their kids start school, and the best way to get to work from the 303. Doors were slammed, laughter ensued — it was an interesting experience to say the least.
This being said — Lisa delivered one of the best facials I’ve received to date, especially for the price. The facial included a salylic mask — an add-​on at most salons. Her massage technique was relaxing and soothing, and my skin looks radiant.
I will return for the facial, but I really hope they work on the ambiance and atmosphere — Lisa is a gem, they could really maximize her talents!

I had the best facial to date here! (granted I have only had one before, Lisa did an amazing job non the less) Everyone at this establishment is extremely friendly. I would happily return time and time again. Thanks Salon glow!
