I have been going here since it was Expect nails… normally I do not have any issues and Kim does a great job. However this last time I went I had a brand new set put on of acrylic nails and less than 2 weeks they all popped off like nothing. I never had this happen before.

Best Nail Salon I have ever been too. The nail techs are friendly, and efficient. The owner, Kim, is a fabulous gal. The Salon is clean and well run. Great atmosphere.

This is the ONLY place that I trust to do my nails and waxing! This is a very clean and relaxing salon, with caring, pleasant employees, who really seem to care and listen to what you ask for. If you’re looking for a great nail salon, this is definitely the place to go!

Never in my life have I paid for such a cheap manicure. I paid 34 dollars for a gel manicure that has already chipped on two nails after just 4 days. From what I read in their pamphlet, I would get cuticle care. She didn’t push back any of my cuticles or take any excess skin off or soak my nail beds before she started the manicure. So now they look super grown out and not neat. Then as she was doing my gel coat, it was obvious that the nail or previous coats were not even and splotchy. Instead of fixing it, she continued to go over it 5 times with the gel color. It still looks uneven, messy, and terrible. she also left tons of the clear gel polish all over my finger nails so I had to file it off once I got home. I wish I never paid 34 dollars for a mediocre manicure that didn’t even last a full week. I won’t be wasting my money here again.

I love this place since the 1st day Kim and Kevin open the door. I love Terri who is the best at what she does. Great atmosphere and great people. Keep up great work, and keeping the shop clean and update to date with styles and materials.

Miyu nails is the best salon in Arizona! I been coming here since they remodeled, and absolutely love them! They sanitize all the equipments, and uses liner. The owner is a clean freak! And you will get to know this when you come in. They are always up with the trendiest design and fashion. Check them out on Instagram for inspiration, or come in and check out the girls(technician) nails, they always have the newest styles on.

I’ve gone to these guys for years, they do really nice mani pedis. I also get my eyebrows done here and they do a really good job! The remodel is REALLY nice. The lady who did my nails was really nice and I would definiteely go there every day if I could. They did my nails for prom and they turned out great, only thing is, if you want the nail polish to stay longer, I would recommend getting gel nails.

Every time I go to Miyu Nails I’m greeted with the kindness one expects. I’m not being sold on any products I ask for what I want and I get he treatment. I have been going to them before they opened up and couldn’t wait for them to remodel. And my husband how goes to them. And he loves them. I would not go to any other salon for my pedicure or my nails. Neither would be my husband thank you very much to the team at Miyu Nails.

I love this place! Terri and Kim make you feel at home and are more than accommodating. I’ve given these women some pretty crazy ideas for my nails and they are always excited to take on a challenge. The shop is beautiful and I always leave happy and with gorgeous nails.

I should of known better to go here. It was remodeled nicely. Good selection of colors. Not sure if new owner. There are 12 pedicure chairs. They sat me in the front corner & then stuck the next person in the chair right next to me. All 10 other chairs were open. No reason to put this chatterbox on top of me. Then the girl that was doing my pedicure asked the receptionist(yes the young girl that works the front desk) to put the soaked acetone on my gels & wrap with foil. She had no clue how to do it. Acetone getting on my work clothes & running down my arms. Can’t be good for my skin or clothes. As this girl is clearly struggling to do this she is sniffing constantly & wiping her nose with her hands! The same hands she is using to touch my hands. I had to close my eyes to keep from snapping. So now I have my eyes closed thru the whole pedicure hoping that the chatterbox next to me that is basically screaming about her rosacea would stop. The girl doing my pedicure announces each product she is using on me, shoving the bottles at me to read the labels. Trying to sell NuSkin products to me. I thought those pyramid sales BS for NuSkin was out in the 90s. Stop trying to force sell me things. I’m clearly trying to relax. They kept asking how my experience was. Again… as my eyes were closed. I never responded. Cause I wanted to say — TERRIBLE. They had the most obnoxious radio station cranked up. Seems loud car commercials were on the whole time. I had to run out of there. Had such a headache. I gave 2 stars because the mani & pedi was decent, not great. But no place in this area is great.

I agree with another comment on here… I rarely have cash and I asked if tip could go on card. He said just this time… so I guess no tip next time if I don’t have cash… not going back there. .oh and their prices are higher than a few other nearby nail salons.

Decent work, but the WORST customer service EVER! I had an appointment, but still had to wait 30 minutes as they’d taken walk ins. When I was called for my pedicure, the lady put me in a chair to soak my feet, but the water was ice cold! I told her it was cold, and she walked away and continued working on another customer. She didn’t put anything in the water, she didn’t start the spa chair, and she never said one single word to me. I wasn’t sure she understood English; so I brought it to problem to the manager’s attention. He was working on another client and did not say anything or do anything to address the problem. I waited another 10 minutes before leaving, knowing I wouldn’t be back. I have to say I’m grateful to Expect Nails, because I’ve found a great new shop! :)

I went to this place because its close to my house and just needed a quick mani pedi. While i was there they upsold everything without me even okaying it. so i ended up with a tacky design on my toes even though i said no, and then getting charged extra for it. I did decide to get the gel nails instead of regular polish because they said it would last for at least 2 weeks, but i had nails chipping and peeling off that same day! i went in the next day and she fixed two of them for me for free but i peeled them all off within less than a week(last time i got gels i couldnt peel them off if i wanted to for at least 3 weeks) i would definitely look elsewhere for gels and if you’re just getting a mani pedi be firm about what you want. say NO if you dont want a design or something because they will push you.

So I looked throughly on here to find a well priced nail salon with good reviews and I ended up at this place. The positive part of this review is that the man that did my nails was nice… First it started off negative, I’m not a fan of salons that wedge off your nails for removal, I very much preferred when they spend time & soak them off. But if you don’t care then this place is your style. Second, I got a pink & white new full set. I’m not from AZ originally but I thought it was excessive to have a pink & white cost around $ 40. On top of that my right thumb nail was rounded on the edges, my left middle finger was thick with a lump like it had a tumor, and the man put gel automatically on my nails without even asking & then of course didn’t mention this and tacked it on my total. I’m all for spending $ for quality, but $ 50 for a removal, new pink & white, unwanted gel, and globby nails should NOT cost this much!

What do I «expect» from EXPECTNAILS??? I don’t expect it to be hotter inside the salon than it is outside.(They had the door propped open for fresh Spring air, but facing the afternoon sun made it feel more like sitting inside a car on a hot Summer day…) Two cute pedicure chairs for kids. Waited for about 20 minutes in a Pedicure chair for the next available Nail Tech. More and more customers kept coming in, it was very obvious that they are understaffed and it really shows. I was given the quickest Spa Pedicure I’ve ever had… about 10 minutes. I would had paid more for a longer leg/foot massage… just slap on the lotion and that’s it??? They need to get you in and out quickly to tend to the overflow of customers. I decided to forget the manicure, because it was getting too busy and it was way TOOHOT& stuffy in there(geez! how about a ceiling fan or box fan???) The price and service was pretty typical for any Nail place located in any strip mall corner around the Valley. With that said, I will probably be checking out a different Nail Salon for my future Nail services… .

Kevin was my tech and he is fantastic! The salon is super cute, they even have kids chairs for those of you who bring your little one to get her nails done too. I had a back fill with glitter tips and they turned out great! He was super attentive to detail made sure my nails were exactly what I wanted.

This place does a great job for the price. There is never much of a wait and they have lots of people that work there. The pedicures are very thorough and they use hot rocks… ahhhh I just wish that they would get the clue that we feel very uncomfortable when they don’t speak English in front of us. But guess that’s our choice if we want to go there knowing that.
