Thought we were going to be eating chef Soon, turns out he wasn’t there anymore and we almost turned around and left but stayed due to my extreme hunger. Glad we stayed, the sushi was really good and the service was too. I’ve been back once since the original visit and have no complaints. The menu for sushi is pretty big with a lot of different rolls/options.

I was pretty disappointed when I saw that Sushi by Chef Soon moved to another location but I decided to try sushi from Seocho. I have completely different impression. Sushi from chef Soon were always super fresh and tasty but here I’ve got too salty rolls with twice smaller cup of miso soup and salad. Sauce for salad had very strange texture and taste. I didn’t like it at all. Soup wasn’t bad but it was a bit more sweet than usually. Rolls were salty! I have no idea how they did it but it’s true. Also they used some new sauce for spicy tuna rolls and it seems to me there is too much pepper. I didn’t feel the taste of fish at all. Eel sushi were ok but it was not the best idea to put another sauce on the top of these rolls. After having lunch I had stomach pain. I cannot be sure that it happened because of these sushi but still… It scares. Generally, I would rather drive to new location of Chef Soon sushi than go here. Sorry, guys.
