Burger King

The coffee is Seattle’s Best and very good.
The restaurant is clean, has good lighting and offers free WiFi
I like the veggie burger option, the side salads could be a little fresher as they tend to be on the dry side.
This store is really good about not pre-​making your food, everything seems to come out pretty hot and crispy which I can’t say for the McDonalds up the street.

There is a girl who works there who is the rudest employee. She always gives me an attitude. I am surprised she still works there because the first time I was served by her was a few years ago. She actually complained to me saying she was the only one there and she did not expect there so much business! Then, she began telling me how angry she was. All I wanted was breakfast. I went by tonight assuming she was no longer employed there. It’s been a few years so how could she still work there? Wrong. She was still there and still cranky. This time, she was moody like before but was a little friendlier. Her attitude this time went «hold on, i’m going to the cash register». Yes, she said that to me over the drive thru speaker when I went to order. This time, she asked me again what I wanted. Then, without as much as a confirmation, she just says «9.09». No «pull to this window» or whatever. Why does Burger King hold on to such a miserable person? I don’t expect people to kiss my butt. In fact, I worked in food service. I know it’s not the best job in the world. I can’t stand people who demand this and that and ask you to smile. But, where I draw the line is rudeness. I have never been this rude to someone. Why hasn’t Burger King fired her? I don’t know but I suspect she probably knows someone. Not that things could get any worse, but the sandwich she made was wrong. I should have taken a picture but the patties were haphazardly placed on the bun and it felt like it was intentionally dipped in oil. It was greasy. Luckily, I was hungry and ate the evidence. But, never again will I go to this particular Burger King. Stay away!

I’ve never dined in here, but since it’s on my way to work, I’ve stopped occasionally through the drive thru when time’s short to quick grab breakfast, or in the evening on my way home, to grab dinner. Dinner time I’ve seen my order messed up on multiple occasions (I once was given two whoppers when I only wanted one cheeseburger, another time I ordered a chicken nugget meal and received cold, chicken nuggets and no fries, so basically spent $ 6 on a soda). In the morning, I’ve been told on more than one occasion that the fryer isn’t working, so no french toast or home fries, and many times I’ve driven by well after 6:30 and there are not lights on and looks closed. Also at dinner time I’ve heard twice that the soda machine wasn’t working. I will stop attending this Burger King.

I consider this a fairly standard Burger King. It’s decent, clean, and fast. What’s really special is this location has free wi-​fi internet that actually works.

What the hell am I doing out here in Colmar, PA you might ask? I ask that to myself too but sometimes you need to go anywhere to see clients. On this particular morning I find myself out in a really picturesque part of PA with lots of farms and nice looking homes. On my way to my next client visit I really had to go to the bathroom and saw this Burger King so I stopped in.
I actually have to admit it is one of the nicest BK’s I have been in. Clean, bright, nice music playing, hanging plants all around, friendly counter people. Has a good breakfast meal deal going on — two sausage, egg, and cheese muffins, tator tot hash browns, and coffee all for $ 4. Being hungry this heart destroying cheap meal fit the bill right now. As far as the food goes, it is just ok. Kind of dry and bland. It still prefer McDonald’s breakfast, coffee, and egg mcmuffins are still king to me.
A huge bonus is that this location offers FREE WIFI! I am typing this review right now using it. WINNING!
