I recomended this place. The front hostess was very helpful and kind. Room was clean and a/c was cold. The beds were comfortable and pillows were soft. The tv was outdated bug it does the job, cartoon network is in the 30s i think for those that have kids. Breakfast was good in the morning they have waffles in the front office as well as cereal and other stuff. Will return here if im ever in the area again. Ps. I stayed in room 110 and the wifi was strong there

Stayed three nights here. Front counter ladies were super! Pool was great. Not a family place if you have kids avoid this place. Lots of ghetto people in this place partying late with music, smoking weed, cussing and being loud till 2−3am. If it’s just adults then I don’t mind staying but not with kids! I left two stars because of the ladies in the office and their pool was very clean. Will I return? Don’t think so.

Will never stay here again. First, they put us in a smoking room when we asked for a non smoking room. Did they give us a different room? Nope. Did they give us even a partial refund? Nope. So after airing out the room, we go turn on the tv. Guess what? Half the channels don’t work! So we told the woman at the front desk and she says«I’ll check right into it» 6 hours later, tv still doesn’t work. This place cares about 1 thing. Charging sky high prices on tourists going to nearby National Parks. The woman at the front desk was completely disorganized. Super 8 ought to be embarrassed of themselves.

Actually writing about the Lindsay Inn on Mirage St… Unilocal doesn;t have it in its list. This is a scary place. Very smelly and outdated. Toilet not attached to the floor and almost fell over when you sit on it. This is only perfect as a set for a horror movie. Wifi didn’t work.

Came to town for a wedding from Orange county. Pulled in at 1:00 thinking great we have time to rest and get ready. Nope… cant check in until 2:00. $ 25 to check in early. 1 lousy hour and they wouldnt budge. I already paid too much for the room so we waited for the same room that was empty at 1:00. I dont care for the one horse town mentality. You people who gave it 4 or 5 stars dont get out much!

I love this motel. I’ve stayed there every single time I got to Sequoia Park. Pet friendly and very clean. Never had any major issues. The only bad part is that it’s still over an hour drive to the center of the park… but hey.

The front counter ladies were awesome! This place has a pool & Jacuzzi, Barbecue, washer & dryer, ice machine, Continental Breakfast, and Free Wi-fi. Rooms were very clean, the area feels safe, close to GAS, FOOD, and MARKET. The downtown area(half mile east of 65) is older and really cute, too. We drove to The Sequoia Forest in less than an hour up 190.

Pros: clean carpet, clean towels, clean bedding, overall clean room, free Internet, Continental breakfast, pool, nice staff, air conditioned units, bed and pillows are acceptable. Cons: neighbors were low life kind of people, bathroom had some dents in wall and in need of some repair, ice machine was empty by the time i went to grab ice. i enjoyed my stay. will be back.

Never stayed here before until now and I honestly am impressed. It was a bit far from where i was going to visit but its ok. Service was great. I requested extra pillows in my room and it was there. for the price i paid it was utterly worth it– free breakfast, great courteous service and a comfy king sized bed? yeah it was worth it for one night.

If you are traveling with a pet, this is the best place to stay in the area. The free wifi is spotty but for something that is free, you can’t really complain. I haven’t tried their free breakfast in the morning but it is offered. Customer service is always friendly.

This is a great place! We used the Super 8 as a base for exploring Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks. The room was bigger than my first apartment! I think it could hold 4 people easily. For two, it was a luxury! Everything was clean, new and in great shape, loved the D-shaped shower curtain. The room was well lit and we loved that the mirrors made us look much thinner. Free Wi-Fi too! What more could you want? The staff was nothing but courteous, kind and thoughtful. The continental breakfast was much better than average. The waffles were tasty. Regarding the review from 2010, I can say we didn’t have any spiders. We’d definitely go back!

I really like this motel. It’s inexpensive and you get a decent place to sleep. Remember, this is a motel not the lap of luxury! Yet it is easily the best value for a quality night’s sleep in the entire area. I’ve stayed at the Motel 6 in Porterville… horrible. And the Best Western in Porterville… waaaaay too much money for a place to sleep(sure its granite countertops are nice, but spending a $ 100 a night sure makes it harder for me to sleep!) The staff at the Super 8 Lindsay are friendly, warm, and conscientious. As we checked out after our recent 3-night stay(for Thanksgiving weekend), the front desk staff warned us about a coming storm & possible difficult road conditions. If you’re visiting Porterville, Lindsay, Three Rivers, Tulare, Visalia, or one of the tiny towns in between, you gotta check this place out. It would even be a great place to stop on your way up to the Sequoia National Forest. Happy travels!

for the price not to bad but our room was infested with huge spiders, ten minutes after we checked in they came crawling out from behind the bed and furniture –they gladly changed our room but still found spiders in the new room — had a sleepless night watching for spiders –like some b-rated horror flick — will not be returning even though staff was very nice and apologised, they should have given us a refund
