Lindenhurst Laundromat

We had an old down comforter that we had bought in Europe 25 years ago. I was ready to trash it because it was stained and smelled. We have had it dry cleaned in the past with less than satisfactory results. I read online that you can launder them if you are careful. This thing is too big for our washer, so I thought I would bring it here to wash it. I found out about their drop off service and thought that was an even better options (as these things take 3 – 4 hours to dry). I got a coupon from their website and off I went. There is a dry-​cleaner (unaffiliated) right next door, so be careful not to wander in there by accident. I could not be more pleased with the results of having them launder this thing. The stains are gone. It smells great (no-​odor), and it is fluffy and comfortable as the day we bought it. Lindenhurst Laundromat saved me the $ 150 cost of buying a new comforter. Additionally, the lady that assisted me was very friendly and helpful. I will use this place again, and recommend them to anyone who need large items like down comforters or jackets professionally cleaned

Though the clean, friendly, and functional atmosphere would be enough to earn good ratings, what impressed me so much with this place was the extraordinary customer service. Not only was I offered a complimentary water, but due to my lacking change (this being my first time at a laundromat, I thought there was a chance I could use a credit card) the owner chased me down in the parking lot and lent me money, allowing me to start my loads right away. Talk about putting the customer first! This was a wonderful first experience at a laundromat.
