Jane’s Nails

I go to Janes nails all the time. They are so sweet to me every time. The gel is a little too thin for me but I love everything else.

I’m actually shocked that there are positives on here. Yes, the nails got done and I don’t hate them and they are nice however it tells you something when you are the only one in the salon and the place is BEYOND filthy! I wouldn’t even go for a pedicure because I was nervous getting fungus there. I’ll never come back here

Last minute, I had to find a nail salon and stumbled upon this one. Awesome! May did my nails – white and pink permanent French acrylic. They came out wonderful and average prices. I would recommend.

It’s always a bit vexing trying a new nail place for the first time. You usually have your favorite people at your favorite places, and you’re comfortable with that. Sometimes, however… you move, or you’re visiting another place, and you need to step out of your comfort zone and get a manicure. In my case, I moved to Lindenhurst from Queens, and it had been way too long since I got my eyebrows waxed, so it had to be done.
I looked on Unilocal,and found Jane’s Nails. It had positive reviews with high star ratings, and was very reasonably priced. So I took the plunge, and gave them a try.
When I walked in, May was very welcoming. The salon was very clean and bright, with plenty of sun streaming in through the front windows. There was relaxing, new age-​ish music playing, which provided a peaceful atmosphere.
Of course while I was there, I decided to get a manicure also. because, why not? When in Rome… and May directed me to Conine’s station.
I have to say, that never in my life have I ever had my nails done by someone so meticulous, yet gentle… especially with the cuticle cutters. I barely felt her cutting them. I was impressed. Conine did a wonderful job, and we had a very nice conversation. Periodically May would check in and chat too.
When my nails were done, Conine took me into the waxing room. I told her I really just needed my eyebrows cleaned up, that I wanted them to remain relatively thick, and to keep the arch maintained. She did… exactly that. She even accentuated the arch over my right eye, which is not as naturally arched as in the left brow. I had a feeling that I didn’t have to worry, based on how detail oriented she was with my nails.
She was very attentive the entire time. She sat me at a drying station for my nails, and then, while they were drying, Conine gave me a neck/​shoulder/​back massage. Just a brief, light massage, that I didn’t anticipate, but totally appreciated.
All this… for $ 14.00. I couldn’t have asked for a nicer experience.
They also have business cards with a frequent visitor table on the back. After 10 visits, you get $ 5.00 off your next appointment.
I will be earning that $ 5.00.

Visiting form out of town and went here for mani and pedi and eyebrow wax. Great place. Good prices and very nice staff. Only wish the massage chair worked better. Would definately go again.

May is the best! Prices are very reasonable.

Affordable, friendly and I would be lost if May wasn’t there. I get my nails and waxing done here and May has perfected my eyebrows to my standards. Took me 20 years to find her. Clean and relaxing environment.
