For the price, I give this a 4 star rating. My boyfriend and I rented a room for the night just so we can relax in the hot tub and have a nice romantic night together. The room is a little on the small side, but like I said previously, for the price it was great. Everything was clean and worked. They have a nice flat screen on the wall over a tall dresser. The bathroom was a nice size but the door wouldnt stay shut for some reason, you couldn’t lock it. It wasn’t a problem for us because we were the only ones in the room. The hot tub is plastic and a little on the older side. It runs on a timer, you have to turn the jets on every 15 minutes which was a little irritating when your trying to relax and have«fun» in the tub. The water also kept draining so you had to keep running the water every so often. Tip: please be careful if you are going to rent this room! Put a towel on the tile in front of the tub YOUWILLSLIPANDFALL!!! The bed had mirrors over it which was pretty cool, definitely a nice touch! Overall this was a nice room for the money. The staff at the front desk was also very nice.

On Dec 26 of 2010, I got stranded in the blizzard on the NJ turnpike when my windshield wipers stopped working. I had been in the car for 10 hours, and was exhausted and stressed. I had 3 small dogs with me, all of whom were distressed as well. I managed to exit the turnpike by leaning out of my open window and using my snow brush to remove snow from the windshield while I drove, which was very uncomfortable and scary. I finally managed to make my way to this hotel slowly through the blizzard, and asked for a room. They don’t typically allow dogs, and while I offered to pay an extra deposit and assured them that the dogs were small and well behaved, they turned me away, back into the blizzard. Pretty heartless. I can’t imagine a business that would abandon a paying customer in such a terrible situation in order to enforce a random policy. I then asked whether I could park in the hotel’s parking lot and sleep in my car; as a woman traveling alone late at night, I was worried for my safety, and I didn’t just want to park on the street. The desk clerk said I could and that he’d keep an eye on me throughout the night, then when I was getting settled in for a cold, miserable night, he called the cops to remove me from the parking lot. Unbelievable.
