Dunn Dog Retrievers

After being at Dunn Dog Retrievers for 8 weeks, my dog sustained damage to his neck, including fur loss and skin abrasions. The trainer Michael Dunn has been a trainer several years. He stated under oath at a hearing about the situation that this type of neck damage is normal and typical with the retriever sporting dog training. Having owned retrievers since 1998 including American Kennel Club and Canadian Kennel Club champions trained for field work and confirmation/​show. Never have an of my dogs ever returned from a professional dog trainer in this condition. I do not nor would any ethical dog trainer or dog owner consider fur loss normal, to-​be-​expected and ok. It is now. I highly recommend against any use of Dunn Dog Retrievers in Lincolnton, North Carolina.
