The Mill is a classic. I’ve always loved the white heat! Atmosphere is good. It was great when they added this location, much easier to access than the Haymarket. Just wish sometimes there was more consistency with the way drinks are made.

Just had a mexican hot chocolate whilst reading some homework. Amazing stuff. One of my favorite atmospheres to read in, and of course they have excellent coffee. The atmosphere and style of both locations is one of laid-​back rusticity; a bit hipster, but everything is high quality as far as I experienced, and the employees and their customer service is top-​notch. I’ve been going to this chain for many years since high school, and it has been a consistent favorite for me. Doesn’t disappoint. Try it out!

Lincoln, though small, has a mighty coffee shop presence and The Mill is one of my favorites. I love the taste! And I love that you can go in here and handpick dry coffees and teas which make great gifts!
I only wish they had bigger cups!
I haven’t had the opportunity to sit and relax here. I’ve always just stopped in for a drink or gifts.

Went in to find a replacement coffee shop when I move to Lincoln next year (moving out of Kearney). The girls behind the counter made me a London Fog (I was impressed that they knew what it was, too). She even asked me how I usually had them made, which showed me that she cared about me getting what I expected or wanted. It was delicious, and I’m a huge fan of the Earl Grey they used. There was also a huge selection of loose leaf teas and whole-​bean coffee that I would like to try next time. Friendly service, good drinks, cozy atmosphere. All you need in a coffee shop and more :)
Can’t give 5, because I work at a coffee shop right now and therefore I have a bias ;) Overall it’s worth checking out and returning to.

I love coffee, so needless to say I have been to a lot of coffee shops and the mill has some of the best unique coffee drinks around. I love the creole lait, although it makes me want to jump in a plan and head straight to New Orleans.

Always spot on with my coffee and very nice folks there great feel only have on suggestion maybe more than one employee at 8:30 in the morning a little bit if a long wait for my mocha but well worth it spot on

This place makes serious coffee. I really don’t know what else there is to say. If you want to drink coffee from a coffee artist who takes their work to heart, then come here. It is delicious and worth the effort.
If you don’t want to experience that, I don’t think we can be friends.

This place is always solid. The staff is always friendly and the coffee is as good as anywhere in town. If I am going to go out to get a cup of coffee in Lincoln, the mill by Union College would be one of my top spots.

The Mill always has the most delicious coffees on tap each day and the atmosphere of this location is definitely a plus. My wife and I both enjoy going there to do work as well as for leisure. No matter who is on staff, they are always friendly and very helpful.
I love many coffee shops but The Mill is definitely the BEST local coffee house in Lincoln, Nebraska!

I would admit to being a coffee addict… i love coffee, espresso, mocha, lattes… all of it, and i really dig a chill place to hang out. All of these things should make the Mill a slam dunk in my book, but it isnt. A majority of my friends love going there and i have no idea why. Its cozy and friendly but i have yet to taste something delcious there. the pastries are usually old and there are usually grounds in my coffee/​espresso drinks. There are tons of great of great places to get coffee in Lincoln so i usually try and avoid the mill
