Great BBQ! All smoked in house, best in the south! Great friendly staff. Largest Craft beer selection in central Alabama. Truck parking for the fellow truck drivers at I20 Truck Stop! KARAOKE EVERY Friday and Saturday nights!

Aside from the fact that smoking is still allowed indoors down here, the RIBS were GREAT! The wings were pretty good as well, just your regular bar wings, nothing TOO special. Our waitress was very consistent and the beer was cold!

If you love cigarette smoke and zero ambiance, this is your place. It smelled so rancid that we left.

Hidden food jewel in the heart of redneck country. Rough around the edges but some damn good ribs and wings. Have a cold beer to some terrible karaōke while u eat some of amazing food. Not a bad whiskey selection either.

The ribs were the some of the best I have ever had. The wings are fantastic. Great place to go have a beer and dinner. The owners are very nice and usually there in there in the evening. Great beer selection and friendly staff. A real hidden oasis just off the interstate.

My friend and I happened on the Doghouse totally by accident. We were in from out of town on our motorcycles just cruising the area and STARVING. We were warmly greeted by Tammie (owner) who made us feel completely at home. She whipped up a couple of drinks in a hurry and put out a menu. Considering we both love BBQ we asked and were informed they have the best ribs in Alabama… Now, let me tell you this, we were specifically on a BBQ cruise around the south, so hear me when I tell you THEY WERE NOT KIDDING! Red Dog throws down the best ribs I have ever had in my LIFE!
The ribs were so good and they were so nice we came back again the next day! The next day we got to know some of the characters who welcomed us into scene at the Doghouse. We were hooked! The Doghouse became like a home away from home. Their patrons are some of the salt-​of-​the-​earth best damn people on the planet and their food is slip-​outta-​your-​seat-​in-​your-​own-​drool good!
I have been all over the country on my motorcycle and this is one of the best ‘finds’ of all time. Whether you are looking for good food or a ripping good time at night, you can’t go wrong here.
I enjoyed my ribs so much I had them pack two slabs to take home on my bike.
