This was our first experience at an «escape room». I had only heard about the concept from the person who booked the tickets(who hadn’t done one themselves). I wasn’t sure what to expect, and was only so-so on the idea. We had a really great time. The owner(CJ) did a great job of explaining things to us and letting us know what we were in for(I only wish we had paid more attention!). So while I’m no expert at these things, the room seemed really well laid out, authentic, and there was plenty of room for the 6 of us. I would imagine that anything more than 8 would be too much. While we didn’t finish it in the hour allotted, we felt like all the clues were very fair(obviously some harder than others) and we left not with a sense of disappointment, but rather excited to tell friends about it. As a side note, I mused to myself that if I was interviewing, someone(or people) I would definitely want to bring them to one of these. I can’t think of a better way to spend an hour with a candidate: you get to seem them think logically, troubleshoot, work as part of a team, etc.
