Truck stop is full of everything you can want for your truck, fuel is cheap but the restaurant is a disaster… long wait to get a server, longer wait to actually get the food… I will stop by again but only if the place is empty. This business is severely understaffed and that says poor ownership and poor management all over it. Too bad cause it seems like they spent a lot of money building the place.

Have been stopping here for breakfast most of my life. If you come in with a set expectation of greasy spoon truck stop food, they’ll never let you down.

I like this place. They have an interesting array of items in the store. Place is kept clean. Today I tried their steak sandwich. It was tasty. I’ve had better at other locations I’ve been at but they used aged beef. My steak here was cooked the way I wanted which is medium rare. The steak was of decent thickness to allow that to happen. I wonder why they don’t use aged beef? That would have made it a five star rating from me. Good service.

Actually very nice! Large selection of snacks and drinks, nice restaurant which we managed to have a vegetarian meal at, and friendly people. Also there was no creepy vibe in here so that’s good! Décor is very interesting. Lots of history here. Check out the ‘old fashioned peppermint candy’ boxes that are at the register. :)

The waitress was super sweet. The chef has mad skill! I asked for medium rare but I regretted bc the steak was diner-quality and wasn’t very fresh for medium rare, so I asked the steak to be cooked a little more. In most places, usually if you ask a medium rare steak to be recooked, it will come back well done or overly cooked. Not for this chef, the steak came back perfectly cooked with a hint of medium rare! Overall food quality is alright. Get the ribeye steak! Very well seasoned.

Worst truck stop ever, broken bathrooms, unhelpful staff who don’t take responsibility. If you’re driving through Nebraska, keep going… keep going…

I believe the cook needs to go home and watch reruns of the food network, I had the chopped steak and i didnt realize it was supposed to be cold, tough and without flavor, guess i was wrong. The salad bar was horrible nothing fresh or replaced lettuce looked like they picked it two weeks ago dont think it was supposed to be brown. I guess after a long day next time i will go across the street to subway at least i can eat fresh. The only good thing about the place was the wait staff, my waitress only came by one time and never bothered me again needless to say i was pretty thirsty as i never got a refill

We stopped in to eat since we were in the area. My guy got the country fried steak and didn’t really say much. Looked good though. I opted for the fried chicken special. The chicken was cooked nicely, but it was way too salty. Sides were eh. I didn’t finish my meal and took some to go, but when we got home, I made the chicken breast next day and it was still juicy and moist.

I’ve been to better, I really enjoyed the atmosphere but the menus were taped together food was ok but it took a while to get it and it was slow, I wouldn’t eat here again but it’s not that bad

I’ve become a regular here. I stop here to fuel and shower. Lately I’ve been eating here and have been impressed with the food and service. Everyone is friendly and the food is cooked the way I like it. The inside of the truck stop is pretty cool. A lot of nostalgic things to see. Mostly gas station type stuff. The showers are clean and the give u an extra towel.

Food was good. The booths had individual tv’s w/cable. Service was excellent. I would recommend this place as a one stop for your travel needs. Plenty of parking as well.

I guess that in eating here, it is all about the pie! The chocolate and coconut pie, that is. I stopped in here on a whim after getting gas and while heading out of Lincoln. Very nice employees, pretty homely type of atmosphere, and good food. There was a small flat screen television that, so I thought that this was kind of cool. The venue itself was clean, yet I didn’t quite understand the bar setup toward the front of the restaurant. I waited to be seated yet after a few minutes, I figured that the both the hostess + server were in the kitchen area. It took a few minutes while at the table to finally have a server arrive. The meal was palatable. There are the entrée assortments of spaghetti and steak plus your burger, yet I chose the BLT with fries. The BLT was pretty good with exception to the fact that it had too much mayo, yet I was hungry and didn’t bother to mention this to the server. The friends were very plentiful– you make have to get a to-go order just for the fries! Finally, the pies. Ooooooh yeaaaaah! I don’t know who bakes these pies, yet they are very rich in flavor and reasonably priced. I had a slice of chocolate pie out of a choice of three or four, and I wish that I would have just bought the entire pie rather than a slice. Keep in mind that I rarely purchase desserts. This pie was awesome. You’ll have to pay your bill in the front by the sit down bar, which is fine. Altogether, this experience proved to be enjoyable. Hope to return once I’m back in Lincoln.

Pretty good truck stop fare. However, the prices are outrageous! I nearly always have sticker shock and buyer’s remorse when we go here for breakfast. The food just isn’t that good to justify a $ 30 bill for breakfast for 2 adukts and a 2 year old.

This was by far the nicest and best gas station I have ever been in. The Shell station blends into a mini-mall and restaurant complex with a restaurant, ice cream counter, a very large convenience store, a few historical vehicles on display, and for some reason a Subway. We actually ate dinner here because our time of arrival made prospects for dinner further down the road poor. The restaurant had a pretty good chicken fried steak and the biscuits were good too. Their ice cream is produced by the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s dairy store and was very good. I wouldn’t say any individual element was five stars but considering this was a Shell station in the middle of Nebraska the total package is impressive.
