Well, lets start off by saying. My husband was shock when I told him I want to purchase my first gun. He took me to Placer Tactical. They have the best deals on the type of gun I was looking for. Which gun you are probably wondering and the answer is I’m not telling. I’ll let you keep guessing.
I love it. There was the 10 day waiting period of course. Rick amazing and went through the process with me. I pick it up no problem, went to the range and fire that sucker.

The best no nonsense honest FFL in the area. Great service and a good price, worth the drive.

My boyfriend got his first gun here at Placer Tactical. The process was easier than I had imagined. Rick was also a big help. He was very friendly and sociable. My boyfriend did some research on what was needed to purchase a gun and be a gun owner, but Rick’s reassurance was a plus. My boyfriend was able to pick up his gun 5 days later, after the DROS process and taking his gun safety test.
As someone new to guns, I’ve never loaded or unloaded a gun before. Let me just say, watching the actors and actresses handle a gun on TV is totally different than doing it yourself. For one, the gun is actually heavy. I thought it would be lighter but I was wrong. Rick showed my boyfriend and I how to load and unloaded. It appeared complicated at first when he first demoed it, but it was easier after he did it a second time.

I purchased a handgun from Rick online and just went in today to start the DROS and take my handgun safety test. Everything went great, he’s very organized! He’s got an online calendar system to make appointments for DROS and pickup and I felt very comfortable in his shop. He answered all my questions and I really appreciated the one-​on-​one attention. He’s also really prompt about answering emails.
I came all the way from Sonoma County to visit this little shop in Lincoln and it was absolutely worth the trip. I’m looking forward to going back in a couple weeks to pick up my new handgun.

I came in and he found me a perfect gun, after that I waited 10 days, when I came back to pick it up, I had forgoten a form needed and he is typically closed on a specific day and just for me he came in and opened for an hour even though he did not have to, just so I could pick up the gun. This guy has the best service I have had from ANY gun store in the Area.

I’ve bought a few guns from Rick, and each transaction was quick and smooth. Awesome customer service as well! You can’t go wrong buying something from him.
He has a quaint little shop in downtown Lincoln. He’s a pretty interesting guy to chat with as well while you’re getting your paperwork done.
