Husker Nails & Spa

This use to be my all time favorite nail place. Its big and nice interior. The owners use to all be so nice. But the last few times the service has gone down alot and actually hurt me several times. The male owner is getting very pushy suggesting the husker pedi which is very nice extras of oranges and warm rocks, but costs more and he always assumes thats the pedi we want. His wife is very friendly to the regulars but those of us who might go once a month or special occasion she just grumbles to coworkers as she works on a medi. But the 2^nd last time the young girl kept cutting into my skin trimming nails. Even after Id say ouch she’d stop and look like dont understand. Then this last time few weeks ago I had the other male staff and he was so rough massaging. I asked for light and he kept hurting me. I even pointed out I had a bandaid on my leg to be careful and he would just laugh and look at coworker. Then he put the hot rocks on it. I said ouch pointing to it and he laughed again saying… melt. I had family along from out of state and she was shocked. They also paint down to edge of nail so you need to come back sooner because the gap looks like needs redone. Im not sure I will come back. I loved that it is on Northside of town. But just like so many, they are real nice first few times. Then they act tired almost annoyed or bored with their job. But need to remember it is their job and theyre being paid for it.

Very nice staff! I would recommend this place to anyone! Had a fill and got a wax. Very caring staff and did a great job!!!

I will never go back to this place again! Went in to have tips removed and instead of soaking nails in acetone, which is the right procedure, she proceeded to pry it off using the sharp end of a nail tip slicing 2 nails! They need to slow down and do things the right way instead of pressuring you to spend more money.

Really awesome place. Clean and friendly. Did a great job on my pedi. Used rocks and oranges and a cool scrub felt really good. Will def come back.

Love the hot stone massages with my pedicure. Just communicate when the stones are too hot-​they usually are when they first put them on your legs!

Okay so I have now been here on 3 different occasions. First time was just for a pedicure, second time was for a fill and pedicure, and my third recently was for fill and new color. My first time for pedicure was the best, second time was good but the employee was not so great. However the guy who did it my second time was not as nice as the first guy. He never checked to see if stones were too hot and burned my foot. He did the same thing with the towel and burnt my calf area. While doing an extra service he kept talking to the ladies in his language then they would look right at me. I find this to be very rude because obviously he was talking about me. I treat everyone with respect and would expect to be treated in the same way. If I ever go back for a pedicure I honestly will not do it if he is the one to do it. His tip went to the lady that did my nails. My nails though were done wonderfully the second and third visit.

First time and I loved the experience! I use to go to Ruby Nails until they got a new manager the new guy takes forever to get your nails right redos a couple times and the last time was my last he scrubbed on a callus and made a hole it bleed. I couldn’t wear anything but sandals for more than two weeks it was so tender so totally done with that place. This is my new place I felt pampered!
