The staff is very helpful whenever I need to rent a piece of equipment for a household chore or get propane tanks filled. Don’t waste your money on tank exchanges and get them refilled at Far West! The equipment I have rented is in great shape and no issues on start up.

Best rental yard in town. Super knowledgeable and helpful staff. You name it and they have it plus propane and concrete. They guys at Far West Rents are great. I took a week off to move a lot of dirt. They hooked me up with all the right stuff (excavator, tractor, and dump trailer). Their prices are very competitive and the in & out of the yard is extremely simple.

Matt, Boomer & crew are on top of everything. Great place, good deals. Much better terms & service than the larger outfits. I always go here as a contractor. & homeowner.

Good people and equip. here. We never had any issues with anything we got. People know what they are talking about as well, can recommend what you need. Prices are fair too. We did a large job of 14 yards of concrete along with having to trench in various things and cut large blocks for a wall so we rented quite a few items from them. Would recomend highly.

Their rental equipment is always in good working order and competitively priced. I live in Lincoln and some of the places in Rocklin «seemed» to be cheaper but when you realize you are paying hourly to drive to and from the rental places it’s a waste of time. Besides they have more flexible terms and cheap all day rentals too. They also take time to explain how to use the equipment most effectively, saving you time and costing them some of their profits, but they seem to truly want happy customers above extra earnings.
Their concrete trailers are like mini mixer trucks and work a lot better than the plane old dump trailers.
They sell propane at great prices, and refill your own tank. It’s far cheaper than the exchange places.
When my son was doing a Service Project to earn his Eagle Scout Award they even donated the landscape supplies he needed and let us use a gas powered posthole digger at no charge as well.
I have purchased many loads of landscape material for my yard and honestly can say they are a great local business.
