Best in Lincoln! We ordered a small cake for our anniversary and could not have been happier with it. We are pretty picking when it comes to baked goods and we were impressed to say the least.
Our cake was not only beautiful, it was delicious. We got a chocolate peanut butter cake and it rocked!
I was also very impressed with the fact that even though my cake order was last minute (within 48 hours) and I ordered it for the busiest weekend she has, she was still friendly, obliging, and capable of producing a quality cake, to say the least! We will be doing this again!

I live in California and every time I return to Lincoln, Nebraska to visit friends and family I order a cake from the Lincoln Cake Lady… Donna. They are rich, and absolutely the most delicious cakes I’ve EVER had… hands down !! I even put a few pieces in a plastic container, seal it tight, and fly it back with me to California. I give my friends a «bite «…and they are STILL talkin’ about it !! The BEST !!!

My wife and I heard the «Cake Lady» did great cakes so for our wedding we ordered two. A chocolate one, and a «wedding cake» flavored one. We were old school and back in the day wedding cake had a distinctive flavor, which the cake lady knew and said was vanilla and almond and yes she also made cakes with that flavor for people like us. With the fresh raspberry purée between the layers and the butter cream frosting these two cakes were without question the best we’ve ever had, which was also the comment by many of the foodie family guests we. Three years latter we still talk about it. Since the wedding we’ve ordered two others cakes, one for a graduation which I took out to Cheyenne Wyoming with the car’s A/​C blowing on it, and one for fun.
My wife and I have since moved to Kansas City but we miss these and would strongly recommend the Cake Lady to anyone wanting a memorable cake. She is great to work with and does a spot on job!

After our wedding, people wrote us notes saying how much they’d enjoyed our CAKE… oh, and the wedding too. The Cake Lady cakes are AMAZING, but be forewarned, they are insanely rich. When she says a quarter sheet will serve 36+, you should believe the plus. She is really busy during the peak graduation/​wedding season, but she also keeps a stock of recently premade cakes in a fridge for pick up if you are flexible about what variety you get. She is great to work with on custom orders, though, if she isn’t already overbooked for your week. Get a cake from Donna for your next major shindig, and your friends will love you forever, calories be damned!
