Diamond in the Ruff Pet Spa and Boutique

Called into the shop yesterday to ask about pricing and they stated I needed to talk with «Tracy» the owner and she wont be in until today at 11 AM. I called and she was busy and the person said to ask her the price and she will go over and ask. I said ok thanks. I was requesting:
I have gone to another spa shop in Roseville for quite sometime, but I just move to Lincoln and I want to build a relationship with a new groomer. I asked because I bring my (4) mini Dachshunds to the shop once a month to do their glands and nails, would she be able to meet the negotiated price to what I have been paying at the other shop. She came back on the phone and said she couldn’t. I let her know she is 3X the price of other places and even my old shop. Said we wont match it nor reduce.
I can now understand why her reviews are not very strong and I cant see this shop standing strong as the area starts to build up. Happy to say I found another shop that will take me and meet my price.

My husband and I are new to the Twelve Bridges area and we decided to take our boxer and German Shepard to Diamond in the Ruff not only because it is close to home but because they seemed to have good reviews. Our dogs are a part of our family and we wanted to make sure to find a groomer that provides quality service and truly knows how to treat animals.
When we picked up our fur babies they looked great, we ended up paying $ 140 for both including an extra 5 minutes of brushing for our short haired German Shepard. They are not only over priced but they also expect for you to provide them with a tip! Five days after their bath and I found scabs all up and down my German Shepard’s back due to extremely hard brushing with a Furminator brush. Which is a brush with a ton of sharp edges, so the extra 5 minutes that I paid for at $ 1 per minute were pure torture to my 1-​year-​old German Shepard.
Not to mention prior to posting this review, I called Diamond in the Ruff and spoke to an employee that assured me she would pass may concerns along to the store owner, and I would get a call back to get this sorted out. It as been 2 days and I have yet to receive a phone call from the owner.
Needless to say I will NEVER bring my dogs to this location ever again. The girls had a great personality but they obviously do not know what they are doing and how to treat dogs. I will make sure that all of my family and friends are aware of the dog abuse and low quality service that this location provides.

Not a friendly place. The last time I took my terrier in there, he was there for 7 hours. The owner was pissed because he pee after they bathed him and he had to be re-​washed. It was the 3^rd time I had taken him there and he did not want to go in… that should have been my first clue… She then told me what a bad dog he was and next time it would cost «alot more to groom him» When she took him out of the cage he had shit!!! I don’t believe they took him out all the time he was there… because he never does that kind of thing… The owner was really pissed… I would never take him there again… the shop looks great… with lots of accessories… My little dog was afraid of groomer’s after that experience… do yourself a favor, there are plenty of groomers… find one that likes dogs…

Love this place! We have been bringing Isabelle here for over 2 years. They are always so helpful and nice. Isabelle loves to go!

I got my dogs groomed here several times. The staff is experienced and the hair cuts were always very nice, but I wasn’t comfortable with the long amount of time it sometimes took before my dogs were ready (up to 6 hrs), so I went back to Petsmart.

I took my golden retriever to this shop for grooming on the day before Easter. I told the owner that I wanted her coat cut short to get rid of some of the cowlicks on her back. She asked me if I wanted her cut like a lab and I said «NO». Then she asked if I wanted to keep her feathers and I said «Yes». When I returned to pick her up several hours later, my beautiful golden was completely shaved!!! This was NOT what I had agreed to at all. To top it off, the shave job was so bad that you could see the streaks made by the razor. The only feathers left were on her tail. She looked ridiculous. I can’t imagine any professional groomer thinking this was a good haircut for a golden retriever. I will never take my dog back to this groomer. It took more than 3 months for her coat to grow back. Not only did she look silly, but I was told by a reputable groomer that it is dangerous to cut a dog this short, especially in the summer when they can get sunburned. Stay away from this groomer!!!

I felt like I was getting stared down by a hawk when I was last here. My pooch and I were walking around the store, and there wasn’t a smile or even a simple «hello».
I’m sure if I was getting my dog groomed here, it might have been a different experience. However, for now… I’ll leave it at that.
Pros to this place — they have lots of leashes and collars to choose from.

Tracy Unden is the best groomer I’ve come across. I moved here a year ago and found Tracy on the net, I noticed that she specializes in terriers. I brought my 10 year old wire haired Jack to Tracy with a dilemma… I told her he needed a hair cut fitting of the older, distinguished gentleman that he is. She agreed that his beard and eye brows are his personality and should stay but she could get his thick, long coat thinned out for him to keep him cool for summer. I didn’t quite know how she was going to achieve this but when I came back from brunch about 2 hours later, I found my beloved JR perched on a faux mink pillow and looking more beautiful and distinguished than ever. The groomer we had for the last 10 years would just buzz him down, whiskers, brows, beard and all and make him stay for the entire day (8 hours). My Jack would be so stressed out, that he wouldn’t «talk» to me for days. Tracy treats her canine clients with the utmost respect and concern. I will never go to anyone else from now on and the drive is so worth it. My JR even got a gift bag for being a new client – now that’s class and he wasn’t mad at me at all. Thanks Tracy!!!

This is my favorite place to shop for my dog!
I always find the cutest knitted sweaters, tank tops, t-​shirts, and coats for my cute little terrier mix!
Everything is so girly and cute and that makes it fun to dress up and accessories my dog.
They have cute collars, and toys… lots of pink and unique dog toys!
They even have a grooming salon… there are stations for you to wash your own dog, or they have a salon where they do it for you… I have not used their groomer yet but as soon as I do I will update this.
