Crazy Dog

If you’re traveling through the Lincoln area, you have to stop and check out Crazy Dog! The chili cheese hot dogs and chili cheese fries were to die for. You can order individual dogs or wings for a quick nosh or you can order the basket which includes fries and coleslaw. The fries were crispy and cooked to perfection! I was afraid that my fries would get soggy with all of the cheese and chili on top of them (I had to bring all of the food to my families house-​about a 10 minute drive) but even after that they were still delicious and not soggy at all.
The inside is very cute– the owner has a ton of plants in the place and it really makes the inside feel cozy. If I was a local I would be here all the time. My grandmother who is a local swears by the wings. When she found out I was visiting, she told me I had to stop at Crazy Dog and pick her up some wings. She doesn’t leave the house much because she is elderly and has a hard time getting in and out of her vehicle, etc. She told me that when she does go out, she’ll drive up to Crazy Dog and that the owner will see her through the window. She’ll hold up her fingers to say how many wings she wants, and he brings them out to her jeep for her so she doesn’t have to get out of the car. This is a huge help to my grandmother and a huge big thanks to the owner for doing this for her.
