Very unprofessional and non transparent I recently went to Christian Jewelers to have the clasp on my sterling silver chain fixed. The man at the counter looked at the chain(valued at about $ 65) and says some soldering work needed to be done and work cost me about $ 35. When I was shocked about how much it was going to cost and wanted a second opinion, I was rudely handed the chain back. Today I went to Ricard Jewelers on Newport Ave. in Pawtucket. When I showed the girl who was about 18, she said«oh, I see» and simply popped the stuck and stretched clasp back into place. When I called Christian Jewelers to inform them that I felt somewhat cheated on what they offered me as well as confused why the staff could not identify such a simple problem. They replied angrily that I «didn’t know the business.» Well apparently they do not either as an 18 year old most likely working for her father was able to fix the chain right in front of my eyes with zero work needed. I think this review, the other negative reviews, and no presence of any positively surrounding this jewelry store pretty much sums up this place.

I wanted the battery, but you said I would have to leave the watch as it was a big process and difficult to change and said it was definitely NOT the battery! I even asked if you could check and test the battery in my watch but you did not want to. I went to another place, and it took about 3 minutes to change my watch battery and that’s all it was!

took my watch in to be repaired. it occasionally stopped for a few hours and then would run. watch cost me $ 85 The owner said to leave it with him, he did let me borrow a watch while I waited for repairs. Calls me 7 days later, says he can repair my $ 85 watch for $ 175!!! You have to be kidding me I tell him no, go to pick up my watch, now the stem does not work and it does not run at all. Too his credit he did not charge me for DESTROYING my watch
