I took a pair of Oklahoma clogs in to have them resoled. It took them over a year to even begin working on the job. Finally, after having to repeatedly call and question the status of the job, they called and said they had them ready. I arrived at the store, and the friendly gentleman at the counter went back to grab my shoes. He returned with a pare of insoles. My shoes had yet to be started. So finally, after about 2 years, my shoes were done. I went to pick them up and they weren’t the least bit apologetic about it. The lady at the counter actually said, well they’re nice looking shoes. Not nice enough to wait that long. Once I arrived home, I noticed that they shoes were replaced with brown soles and thread. That completely changed the look of the shoes. Usually, if you were going to do something like that, you would let the customer know. And after a year of wear, the soles are already wearing out. I would love to shop locally, but with antics like this, I’ll take my business online.
