This is the best local bar where you can find a vast selection of beers and feel like your at cheers. It’s a cozy low key vibe where you can actually have a conversation or play pool. The owners and bartenders are very personable and keep my friends and I coming back.

Maybe i’m overreacting, but I came here for a beer after a wake. Haven’t been here in like 7 years or so. Came in and got the Ramstein Double Platinum. 8 bucks for a small pint, no carbonation whatsoever, and tasted like sunny delight. If you’re going to try and play yourself off as a dive, don’t charge 8 bucks for a beer. I get those prices in atlantic city, and i know these beers are being sold up the street for like 16 – 17 bucks for a six pack. These guys are literally making a 300% profit off the beer I just bought. Not characteristic of a dive at all. Plus this stuff has been losing its carbonation in the keg. Ugh.

Just moved to Lincoln Park and wanted see what the neighborhood bar had to offer. Went in on Thursday nigh at 8:30 hoping to get a burger and beer. Kitchen was closed. I decided to stay for one beer and a shot of Bushmills. I never had this happen to me before, but the Bushmills tasted like water. I mean literally water with a hint of alcohol. There was no doubt it was a bad job and watering down the bottle. I told the bartender about it and told him to taste it with a stirrer. Did did and said, «Something tasted off»…Gave me a shot from another bottle, it too tasted watered down. Not as bad as the previous, but I didn’t feel like getting into it with him. I just paid and got out of the place.

Cozy pub, good food & ample portions at a good price. Try the steak tips on garlic bread. Good-humored bartenders, decent beers on tap, darts & billiards, a pretty stone fireplace, funny knick-knacks, juke box, and overall chill vibe. A favorite haunt for many years.

Decent selection of beers on tap and in bottles(local microbrews) with pool table and darts. I’ve come here after soccer games on Saturday nights, not too loud or too crowded. Kitchen closes around 10PM.

I’m giving this place four stars based on what type of place it is: a local neighborhood bar. It’s selling point is its great collection of craft beers, and their prices. A lot of regional selections-Blue Point, Cricket Hill, Brooklyn Lager – and a lot of quality. I would go there if I was interested in watching the game(s), having some great beers, and maybe shooting a game of pool.

This place is a real local hang out. It is a typical dive bar. I have never eaten here, but I hear the food isn’t too bad. Not bad if you are in the area and want to grab a quick inexpensive drink after work.

Nice neighborhood bar. Nice looking barmaids. Great wings and burgers. Pool tables and darts if you are into that sort of thing. Not a crazy loud place. Very comfortable.
