Ordered our usual, tasted just like the should at Subway.(Spicy Italian and BMT) I think all the Subways I’ve ate at have had regular consistency.

Isaiah seemed to be the only competent worker in this place, he gets 5 stars at the least, but the other two girls were rude and did not listen. I asked the lady at the register for some napkins, to clean off their dirty table, she said that she already had given one of the other people in my group a napkin. I went back and asked again for some napkins and a fork for my sister, whom did not receive a fork with her salad(which was incorrectly made to begin with, however Isaiah corrected the mistakes), the lady again told me that she had already given another person in my party a fork. I asked again for a fork and a napkin and she finally gave me them with a nice eye roll to go along with. I’m not impressed with her attitude towards a large paying group. Isaiah on the other hand was a bright ray of sunshine whom took pride in his work and did a wonderful job!

I came here to buy sandwiches for 9 hungry people on a very cold, very wet, very stormy day. Each person had made me a piece of paper with their order written out — including bread style, sandwich name, list of veggies and dressing they wanted, a drink, and a chip or cookie selection — and I was responsible for bringing back a satisfactory lunch for the crowd. No such luck. The sandwiches were fine — very typical Subway fare. The line was long, but since it was warm and dry inside — no problem. But here’s the problem(s): I had all the orders in my hand. Instead of taking them and checking to make sure they read each one right — they made me read each order to them while they filled it. This took for-bloody-ever, and did not make me popular with the line behind me. Since they didn’t write the orders down or take the written orders from me – they put each sandwich in a large bag with all the other sandwiches and NOWAYTOIDENTIFY one from another. We had to open each sandwich to know what was there! And most of them fell apart and spilled their veggies as we did. It would seem obvious to either take the orders from me – or at least write them down themselves — so they could put each order slip in a bag with its sandwich, chips, cookie — so the orders would be identifiable! I’ve been in other Subways that did this(which is why I had the orders written down to begin with!) They put all the cookies in a bag together — no way to know which was which without biting in, and most were either broken or smashed together. Everything was(again) all in one sack — so every sandwich was squished. At least 3 of the sandwiches were not what anybody ordered! I’m afraid this is one of those cases where you really can’t just turn the business over to a bunch of high school kids and expect it to work the way it’s supposed to – with no sign of an adult manager. Subway makes good sandwiches — and I’m sure this one does, too — but I’m not sure how they survive busy lunch hours, or the high tourism season…
