Cleanest old bar we have been in at Lincoln City. Friendly staff and welcoming regulars. you can tell that a lot of love has gone into redoing this old place. Very warm rustic décor. Super cold beer. We will be back. Oh and live music! even on a Sunday night.

Second time I have been to snug harbor. AWESOME service and quality food and drinks at a reasonable price! Full order of biscuits and gravy for around $ 6.00 with real sausage gravy. Along with a Bloody Mary yummmmmmm!

You know when you walk in a place if it is where the locals go. This place has an awesome authentic feel and is not touristy at all. We needed breakfast and both had build your own scrambles which you could tell used fresh ingredients and made to order hash browns. The staff was fun, inviting, and quick. It was too early for us to start drinking, but the fully stocked bar and great variety of handles tells us that we might just be coming back here tonight. Right off 101 and there is parking on the side street. Good find! **and if you want to play keno or video slots, you can do that here too!

Had Philly with onion rings — weird but delicious Philly. Onion rings were PERFECT. Some of the best I’ve had. The drinks were good and strong. Karaōke was super fun. I’d definitely go again.

Good atmosphere and good food. Best clam chowder I had all week. We decided to walk from our room and wandered into this gem of a bar.

We were out too late for dinner elsewhere, so settled in here. Drinks were strong and food was top notch. I had the Snug burger, which was good. My girlfriend had the French dip, which was fantastic. Tiny place, and live band was too loud, but service was great and many friendly folks having a good time. The bathrooms deserve a mention, as they were nicely tiled and clean.

Great breakfast! We happened upon this place walking along the beach and looking for breakfast. I had the Snug Breakfast — 2 eggs, bacon and 3 large pancakes. The pancakes were tender and fluffy. My husband had the breakfast burrito — very good. Also this place has the most amazing bar top– it is made from a large log and has a living edge.

Snug is a great place during the day for a meal and a few beers. Great Coconut shrimp and some very nice brews available. Frankie is a great bartender. Very nice woodwork in this place.

Good, better than bar food. Good pour, nice service people. Will be back. Try the philly steak sandwich!

This place was a blast. We caught it on a good night and it was a perfect mix of what seemed to be friendly locals as well as tourists. The cover band that was playing didn’t just phone it in, they actually were entertainers. We stayed at the Siletz Bay Inn and so it was perfect to walk to this bar. It seems it’s the last bar open late, so it gets busy when the other places close.

Unfortunately we must have come on a bad night for the food. We love to eat late when we go out, and being on vacation was no exception, so we were somewhat disappointed in the early closing of most area restaurants. I had seen the reviews for this place and we decided to go on our last night in town, the kitchen is apparently open until 2am! I give it 3 stars average because the food wasn’t great but the service was excellent. I didn’t know the name of our server but he was the only one working in the front that night, and for that I think he did a wonderful job making sure we had everything we needed. I ordered clam chowder and pizza. The clam chowder was ok, however, just the night before I had the best clam chowder down the road, so that kind of spoiled this one for me, but it was decent. The pizza… sigh. It looked delicious, buried in cheese and sausage but unfortunately it really tasted like a $ 3 frozen pizza and I paid $ 14.50 for it! The cheese and sausage were good, but it seemed like they threw these toppings on a frozen pizza, it had no fresh dough taste whatsoever. The sauce and tomatoes were spicy which didn’t sit right with me. I had gotten the reviews I read for another place mixed up with this place and everyone said«get the pizza, not the burger» so I went with the pizza here but later realized those recommendations were not for here. Wish I had a burger or something cheaper. Bf got a philly cheese steak sandwich that was HUGE and a good price. He said it was just ok. I tried a bite and the meat seemed dried out. Only one person was singing karaōke but it was entertaining! Some jerk decided to smoke next to our table, even though there were signs all over that said no smoking and there were no ashtrays in sight.

I love the Snug, it’s everything a little costal dive bar should be. The breakfast is good, the drinks are still and there is karaōke. I have been here at lest 20 times over the years and I always come back, and on occasion close it down. It’s a mix of tourists and locals.

Five star based on the relative alternatives in the immediate 10 mile vicinity. Nice place! It was built in this century! Food is surprisingly incredible. At least it was to me. Not at all what I expected. The chef was definitely trying to make an impression even with the simplest menu items. Tons of space inside and out and above. Covered smoking section. Live bands that have a nice local Oregon, beach redneck vibe. Really friendly staff. Good times.

This was the best place that we found to go out during our stay at Salishan. We went 2 nights in a row! The first night we were there they had a local band playing that was excellent. Sometimes music can be hit or miss at small local bars, but we definitely lucked out that evening. It’s sort of divy. Almost everyone there was a local. They were quite colorful and friendly. The bar manager Frankie took great care of us. The food was good, and reasonably priced. Be sure to check out the rooftop patio. It’s cool to enjoy a cocktail while gazing at the stars.

Just so happened that the person I was with is a karaōke junkie. The Snug Harbor Tavern or as it has become to be known as Bar & Grill in Lincoln City was not only conveniently located but served an excellent local dark beer. The service was great. Sitting at a table between the two doors, cigarette smoke floated into the room every time the door opened. There were more hometown people there than tourist for sure. I did not see anyone eating anything and we had eaten earlier so I cannot really say if they served food as ‘Grill’ exemplify. The KJ sung to fill in the gaps or perhaps for his enjoyment but he was most definitely enjoyable to listen to. He sounded like a mix between Barry White and Peobo Bryston, which was a welcoming sound from the Country tunes sung by mostly everyone else, including the person that I was with. What more can I say? It was a Tavern. A nice and clean one but still referred to as a tavern. The Beer, the KJ’s singing and the service brings up the ranking of Snug Harbor Tavern as the coasters suggests or is it Snug Harbor Bar & Grill. Anyway, I am not confused… are you?

Great place to come, especially late night, when everything else is freaking closed at 8pm! This place is open daily until 2:30 a.m. We were quickly greeted by Peggy as if we were regulars and not first timers. She was sweet, quick with our drinks and amused by our menu dilema. I’d read the pizza was good but which one to order was up in the air. We settled(and by settled I mean by boy relented) on the Margherita — alfredo sauce, chicken, artichoke, sun dried tomatoes, garlic, onions… yeah that was super tasty. They don’t skimp on anything on these pies! It was fairly hopping for a Sunday night and Peggy did her best to keep up with anyone with the cheeriest attitude I could ever have imagined! I guess there’s a deck & sun patio that we didn’t check out since it was nighttime but I know we’ll be back in town, and we’ll definitely be back here.
