Roby’s Furniture and Appliance

I was really excited when I first walked into Roby’s! they have cute beach furniture and I was decorating my new beach house, perfect match, I thought… they are really friendly when you get there and I love having a lot of attention.
I ended up buying a bench for my entryway. It was way too expensive, but I needed it, so I bought it.
I was surprised that they charge for delivery, but even worse, when it arrived, it was dirty and scuffed up. It tried to clean it, but it wont come clean. When the delivery people brought it in to my house, I just looked at them thinking you can’t seriously think this is okay? I think they are used to delivering crap though so they dumped it off and left.
There are much better furniture stores in Tillamook, stay away from this one!

You can get pretty much anything you need for the home at Roby’s! Plush and wood furniture, appliances, flooring and more. They also have really cute items selected for the beach area with starfish, seals and other nautical themes in blue, turquoise and sand colors.
With several locations on the Oregon coast, we visited the Lincoln City and Newport stores one day shopping for appliances. The selection is more or less the same in both locations though I think there’s more at the Lincoln City store. I was amazed at how much they had there.
We’d done our research and found that Roby’s prices were $ 50 – 100 off the listed price of most appliances making them the same as the big box stores. They still charge delivery and installation separate so at the end, it probably ends up being the same. The biggest difference, of course, is that you can look at it right away. Doesn’t mean you’ll get it delivered and installed right away though.
The sales people were really nice and very attentive. They made quick recommendations but weren’t really able to back them up with anything technical. But then, they do make the best cup of coffee in the world with the exquisite Miele machine. It’s worth going just for that!
Get a cup of coffee. Do a browse. There’s some great stuff at Roby’s.

Roby’s Furniture has the worst customer service and are rude to boot. The manager and his employees there need to take a course on customer service.
I have had the worst time trying to get a piece of furniture. I was told 5 to 6 weeks. Instead it took over 3 months to get. I will never shop there again. I always try to buy local, but Roby’s Furniture makes me want to buy out of town with the bad treatment I received from them.

Excellent customer service! Tracy was our salesperson and was very helpful. The delivery and installation guys were prompt, friendly, professional and went above and beyond to install the new tv. Excellent bang for the buck!

After I posted this review, the manager called me and offered me the floor model (which they had refused to sell to me earlier) She did not give me any price break though.
