A fantastic place to eat. You are greeted immediately, with a smile, and seated within seconds to minutes. All of the staff at this restaurant are very kind and thoughtful. And… the place is super clean, the food is excellent, the prices are good too, and not expensive for the quality and quantity of food you receive. I would highly recommend the Pig~N~Pancake for one of your best dining experiences. We are hoping to move to the Oregon Coast someday, and this place will be at the top of our list to go to at least once a week, if not more. We have tried various restaurants in the area, but this is the one that gets the GOLD Star *****. I highly recommend this place for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Thank you for a great dining experience.

This is possibly the best breakfast we’ve had while traveling in Oregon. The plates are well served and for the price you can’t beat it. Will definitely go back again!

Ordinary. Nothing to really draw you to the place. Food was okay. Pancakes were a different texture than I’m use to but they tasted fine. Portions are kinda small for the price.

Eat here every time we come to this area. Fast prompt service. Food is always very good and cooked to our liking. I also like that they offer diabetic choices and sugar free syrup. Which was offered without my asking when they found out I was diabetic. That’s good service. Have eaten her many times when in town and have never been disappointed. If they are busy try the 60’s Café they are also very good

Swedish pancakes with lingonberries simply delicious. The poached eggs were hard, instead of runny which is a bit of a let down. Great spot to stop driving down the lush green coast

Not the best Pig N’ Pancake we have eaten at. Toast was definitely served obviously burnt — that should never be acceptable to serve to a customer. Food was alright, service was decent.

Nom nom. This is the BEST breakfast place in Oregon! So good! You get SO much food, at a great price. We had the crepes, with eggs, sausage, bacon, and hashbrowns. All was amazing, except the sausage. We got links. And they had a funny taste. The server suggested the patties. Next time. Staff was super friendly. On top of everything. And they have a cute little gift shop inside, with so many cute things.

Overpriced. Horrible food. Small servings for the price. You would do better at McDonald’s.

Staff wasn’t friendly, they charge so much to substitute something. When my food came out it had a hair in it as I was then to eat with our party of 7. Portions seemed good

The only reason I’m giving this place 3 stars instead of one is the for the food. Breakfast was good. Unfortunately the service was horrible! We got a waitress named Kimberly and she was almost like a ghost. We sat down and waited for at least 20 minutes before we got any service from her. The ONLY reason she came over is because I had a different waitress come over and ask if I wanted coffee and I had asked her where our server was. Kimberly finally took our order and I asked her for sugar for my coffee. 10 mins pass and she’s no where to be found. Eventually I walked over and took if from a different table to pour in my now cold coffee. She then later came over with no sugar. Gave us our food and slammed down the check at the same time. Completely rude!

Perhaps this is an okay breakfast place. We were there on a Sunday evening and the dinner food was poor. The salad seemed to have been at one time frozen and thawed and thus wilted, transparent, and wet. The seafood combination was poorly battered and probably deep-fried at a too low temperature. I couldn’t figure out what some of the seafood actually was. I told myself it was clams. Upon telling three of the staff at the register that this was a poor meal, none of the three offered any resolution. They were three school girls, really. Won’t be back. And I’d suggest that anyone traveling through the area eat somewhere that better showcases the high-quality seafood that is part and parcel to this area. And somewhere that is staffed with folks with a little more pride in their product.

It took us 30 min to get seated, which was surprising, but has no bearing on them receiving 1 star. We had two free meal vouchers, so figured it would be worth the wait. We ended up ordering crepes and a steak sandwich. The crepes weren’t great, but were edible. Now we get to the steak sandwich. They brought out a leathery gray piece of meat sitting on 4 pieces of toasted bread. And that was the sandwich. That’s it. It was a bread/leather pile. I couldn’t believe what I was looking at. I ate two fries, put our vouchers on the table, and we left.

I would caution you on going here during the weekend. It’s a packed nightmare. We went around 9 am on Saturday and for as crowded as it was, we only waited about 20 min. The waitress was nice and very attentive, never had an empty cup of coffee. The food was good as well. It was cheaper to order off the«side» items menu and then you get exactly what you want as opposed to their set plates of choices. The pancakes were VERY good. I would have given 5 stars but the people at the front desk are kinda rude and lack in customer service. Maybe they should be in the back washing dishes so they don’t have to deal with people.

We stopped in right before closing because it was the only place in town left open. But the food was good and the wait staff was super friendly. Would stop in again for sure.

If you are looking for an IHOP or Shari’s, then this place is very similar. Nothing to write home about. Good for kids b/c they have kid menus with crayons. Unfortunately, I was really really disappointed with their fish & chips. The day before we discovered J’s Fish & Chips and it was sooo amazing that I was still craving more… so I got their halibut with fries and almost cried(ok, not really) but their fish was 4 small nuggets and the batter was the smooth kind. Super sad that I wasn’t even thrilled about their fries. But if you want simple breakfast or lunch food, then this is the place.

Omelet. Just say that when you enter. You will be in heaven. Get them stuffed with your choice of meats. Then add some French toast or pancakes and you can skip lunch. Great spot, easy to find. Very nice staff.

With a name like Pig N Pancake, you know it’s not going to be a tapas bar. This is where you gather up the ambition to eat and don’t leave hungry. In fact, I was a little frightened of the prospect of the plate size, and for a small-ish female I do have a respectable appetite. Out of the breakfast choices(omelettes! waffles! pancakes! crepes! bacon!) I settled on the Swedish pancakes, thinner and crispier than the standard North American style and they come with lingonberry sauce, which is sort of a Scandinavian cranberry. There were about four big ones, and it was a stomach stretcher, but I finished. My husband got some blueberry pancakes, also delicious. We shared a plate of bacon, which was actually disappointing, since it was thick and overcooked to crispiness. There are several Pig N Pancakes up and down the Oregon Coast. It’s a nice family-restaurant style joint, and I would go back anytime for such an affordable and filling breakfast(and go early, because it fills up – with children).
