Holiday Inn Express & Suites Limerick – Pottstown

Stayed here for the past few weeks while on a work trip and the hotel is decent considering there aren’t any other big name shops in the area. It’s clean, well lit, has a friendly staff and the coffee (served ²⁴⁄₇) is great. Nothing fancy, but the attention to the minimal offerings makes it a pleasant place to stay for a work trip.

While the front desk staff was not friendly, the hotel was immaculately clean the pool well maintained. The night of our stay the hotel served all the guests appetizers and pizza. The complementary breakfast has the typical hotel breakfast items along with biscuits and gravy. The lady overseeing the breakfast was friendly and accommodating.

We really wanted to stay at this location but the front desk line rang a fast busy each time I tried to call, about 12 times over the course of 3 hours. I did not like the automated voice reservation option via
now did not want to use the call center manned in a foreign country through Holiday Inn Express toll free number. It’s unfortunate. We know HIExpress locations are good. Hampton Inn won, they answered their phone. :(

I stayed at this hotel for one night and it was very nice. The beds are very comfortable, the room is clean, and there are cookies, coffee, and tea in the lobby. There was also a complimentary breakfast with pancakes, cinnamon buns, eggs, bacon, and other breakfast foods. I would definitely stay here again. Added bonus– It’s right near the Wawa!

The location is new (at least it appears that way to me). Spotless, and I mean SPOTLESS. The manager went far above and beyond to help me with an Internet connection issue so that I could work online. I didn’t experience the paper thin walls that others complained of but I was at the end of the hall way with only a neighbor on one side.

Normally we stay at Marriott properties, but since this trip was on someone else’s dime they put us up at the Holiday Inn Express. This is a fairly new property and it’s pretty nice. Free WiFi, comfortable, clean rooms. Front desk staff was very friendly. Only drawback was the walls being paper thin. We could literally hear conversations next door and they weren’t raising their voices, so that took a 4 star experience down to 3.

Location:
Close to the outlet mall. We stayed here cause it was close to family.
Room:
Beautiful! Dark colors, very modern & clean.
Bathroom:
Not as nice as the bedroom area but still acceptable. Single sink.
Service:
Good.
Housekeeping:
Unfortunately, the did not clean our room on our last night there (left the room at 10am and returned the next morning around 1am, so it was too late to request a cleaning.) We had room #330, which is right next door to a housekeeping door (possibly a storage room.) On our last morning, a group of housekeepers congregated outside around 7am and woke us up. We pounded on our door which broke up the festivities. At check out, we did receive an apology from the front desk. We also mentioned that our room wasn’t serviced the day before, which the front desk agent noted, but didn’t receive any compensation or apology.
F&B:
There’s a complimentary breakfast in the dining hall just beyond the front desk. It’s a good sized room with lots of tables. Cheese omelets, pancakes (press a button and it rolls out of a machine), yogurt & cereal. Nice selection for being complimentary. Mini refrig in the lobby offers complimentary bottled water.
Overall:
New & nicely up-​kept hotel. Would go back again.

This Holiday Inn Express in very new. It is clean and complimentary breakfast is quality. It is located near the heart of Limerick and just a 3 minute drive away is all sorts of restaurants and shopping. Rooms are spacious, and clean with free internet access.
If you like a view of the local nuclear power plant stay in a room towards the front of the building. Very reminiscent of the Simpsons opening credits.
