I walked my dog over to Jerry’s tonight to get smokes. It was 9:03, sign on the door said ‘Drive Thru Only’, so we patiently waited in line for around 20 minutes. It was my turn at the window and the guy says «No walk ups.»… Really? I’m already here, why not let me support your business? What if I am on a bicycle? What if I don’t own a car and just phoned in a large carry out order, am I not able to pick it up?
I’m not going to drive one block to go to Jerry’s Drive Thru, (nor will I probably ever go there again), but I will walk another 2 blocks down to Valero because the owners are great folks.
