Edgewater Medical Center & Urgent Care

just moving into town, I needed «urgent» care for an eye problem, and was fortunate to find this practice. They have regularly scheduled appointments but also accept walk ins. They were friendly, efficient, and accepted my insurance.
Large nice waiting room and restrooms, which is great, since I waited almost two hours as a walk in, and this was the only bummer.
The lab tech who drew my blood was a slick stick, and I am a tough customer for blood draws, having had many bad experiences with techs telling me my veins are small and they «roll» away from the needle. I told the tech based upon my experience, that I recommended a butterfly and the hand, and she listened to me. WOW. Smooth stick and no bruising!
The PA I had was excellent. She LISTENED, and was helpful and friendly, as was the other one I saw on my follow up visit, which only kept me waiting about 15 minutes in the waiting room and about the same in the back.
I was very pleased with my «find» and selected this practice for my primary care provider.
They have a pediatric waiting room and doctor, too.
I received a follow up call giving me the results of my blood work, and great service in getting everything accurately billed to my insurance.
I really am glad I found such great medical service close to home.
