Visited here on a Friday evening. There was plenty of parking. The food was great and so was the service. I had the BBQ pork, pineapple casserole, corn bread, and all was tasty. I would come back in the future.

First time here and I can’t wait to go back. I got the beef tips, cabbage casserole and collard greens. Everything was perfect and the corn bread was amazing. This is my new favorite restaurant.
To top it off, it was my wife’s birthday so she ate free.

We live just down the street from always fresh and eat here and pick up take-​out quite often. The menu is basically the one meat and two sides concept — nothing fancy. You can check their website for the list of daily side items. The food always comes out fast, the service is really good and they always offer you a to-​go cup for your tea (which I love). Some of our favorites include the Collard Greens, Cabbage Casserole, Baked Chicken, cucumber tomato salad and the broccoli casserole. My kids love their hot dogs. And for desert you can’t go wrong with their Apple Fritter.

Charging $ 9.19 for a lukewarm Reuben with a small, piddling slice of pastrami, a tiny bag of potato chips and a mini scoop of a side is pricey – $ 11.25 with tax and tip for a Reuben that should be more substantial. I have had much larger-​sized Reubens at many other places. At the minimum, serve it piping hot with more than a sample-​sized meat portion. Then they will get more than two stars from me.
As for breakfast, again, if they could spend a little more attention on making sure that the food was HOT when it was served, there would be one more star. The grits are great, but the eggs seem to ALWAYS come out lukewarm, as does the toast which results in the butter not melting. I
If it wasn’t for the convenient location, I would probably pass on Always Fresh, but maybe they read these reviews and they can change their process (like not relying on heat lamps to heat UP the meal before serving).

Great southern food. The place has a homey feeling, the personnel very friendly. The food is delicious. The Sunday brunch includes some of my favorites like broccoli casserole and sweet potato casserole.

Awesome food!!! went to stone mountain and was tired of all the fair style food so we gave this southern restaurant a try and bam!!! We hit the Sunday’s brunch before the church crowd … Southern style food done perfect… I’m from a little island called GUAM and i loved this place.

Love this place. If you like southern cooking this is the place for you! When friends from Europe visit and want to try true American southern food, this place is the ticket. Pineapple casserole and chicken salad are exceptional. All veggies are fresh and well prepared.

Ordered a vegetable plate. They all came in styrofoam cups!!! This is supposed to be HEALTHY. Would you go to a HEALTH-​conscious restaurant and eat from styrofoam cups???

I just don’t see what the others are raving about. The food is just okay, the service is slow, and if I hear «are we doing alrighty» or «okie dokies, here’s your foods» one more time I’m going to jab a knife in my ear.
I think I’ll just keep on driving the next time I’m in the area.

Love the service & the food! I love pretty much everything on the menu. It’s just good Southern food. Casual atmosphere. Has an amazing Sunday buffet! The owners are really kind and the story behind the opening of the restaurant is pretty cool. Joel’s Brunswick stew is ranked at the Stone Mountain Chili Cook Off
I just love this place. Get a slice of caramel cake!

My husband and I came here with my sister and brother-​in-​law. My sister and I ordered chili cheese dogs, not really expecting much. They were out of chili so we just got cheese dogs. They were so good! They tasted like backyard grilled dogs. My husband got the turkey melt, which he loved, and my brother-​in-​law got a burger that he said was fantastic. And, since they didn’t have chili, they comped our dogs! We had pound cake and triple chocolate cake for dessert which were both perfect. The service was great and prices were reasonable. The atmosphere was nice; there’s a more mature and family-​oriented crowd and the place is clean and bright. Loved it!

Warm, friendly staff. The vegetable dishes were very good and fresh, and the cornbread muffins were fresh and moist. The baked chicken was overcooked and gummy. Price for two meat plates (one entrée, 2 sides and 2 yeast rolls or cornbread muffins) plus 2 teas: $ 25.00, which is pretty high.

Just Had a Great Sunday lunch buffet (starts at 10.30). Lots of Southern favorites including pulled pork, ham, meatloaf, collards, creamed corn, cornbread baked beans and lots more. Drinks and dessert included and kids under 5 are free — all for $ 13 per person!
Food was about as good as Southern buffet can get without your grandma being involved. Highly recommended.

Came here for a bridal shower! The back room was blocked off and it was very private. The sweet tea and lemonade were very good! They provided croissant chicken salad sandwiches, regular sandwiches, dips and chips.
We were checked on quite often and drinks were refilled before they should’ve been. That’s a plus!
Their home made salad dressing is divine! Must try!!!

Charming little place.
The staff is warm and welcoming, never meeting a stranger.
Clientele is more on the mature side, consisting mainly of locals.
Fantastic fresh vegetables, breads and desserts.
It truly is like a Baptist Dinner On The Grounds kinda place.
After your meal, take a little time to browse the store for fresh produce, local jams and jellies and homemade desserts.
Don’t forget to grab some Chicken Salad to go.
