Went here for a birthday celebration. The outside and the shopping center the restaurant is located in is very old and run down looking. The inside was ok, but was pretty dirty and just old looking. The bathrooms were disgusting with old toilet seats, used toliet paper on the floor, broken toliet paper rolls and only empty soap containers. Now the food… the food was actually surprisingly very good! The rice, chicken and beef kabobs were all very tasty! However I was sick the next day, so not sure if I will be going back…

This restaurant is one of my personal favorites. I thoroughly enjoy their food and I go to this restaurant often. The restaurant is very clean and cozy. The service is great and I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who is in the mood for some fantastic Afghani food. I hope that you get the chance to visit this restaurant.

Not much of a looker outside, but the inside is cozy, the food was really good, the prices reasonable and the food quantity plentiful. Service was also good. Can’t judge authenticity in terms of Afghan food, but the meats were well-marinated, and the side dishes tasty. I will definitely be back! Interesting hybrid-cuisine that draws on Middle Eastern, Indian and Pakistani cuisine; kabobs, boti, naan-like flat breads and yogurt drinks. They do have sodas of course. As a tip, they have a lunch buffet Monday through Friday that allows you to sample from the large variety of choices this family-owned restaurant has to offer, and provides the opportunity for foodies that might be less familiar with Afghan cuisine to explore a little. I am glad this restaurant is here. It provides a great extension to Atlanta’s already diverse ethnic restaurant scene. Afghan cuisine is just not that frequently found. I believe that it is currently the only one in that category. Similarly to my other favorite ethic picks, they strike a good balance between catering to locals of that culture as well as welcoming others.

Good, tasty food but service is slow and a bit spotty. Had chicken kabob, chicken Boti and vegetarian platters. Sides of chickpeas, lentils and spinach are also good. Planning to return to try their lunch buffet.

On a Freezing Wednesday night, I was feeling«adventurous», so I decided to go to the first restaurant I saw, and it was this horrific place. I was sat down by a gani and I couldn’t understand one lick of English. It took 15 min for me just to order my food(bland and under-cooked). After the first bite, I had the craps. I entered the bathroom and oh my gosh, ABSOLUTELYDISGUSTING. I began to throw up and have serve diarrhea. It was a horrible experience and I will never go there again.

I would highly recommend coming here! You will get so much food for your buck. I ordered the Chicken Kabob Platter and it comes with 2 big chicken kabob, naan bread, rice, and Dal. When you get a Kabob Platter, you can choose either dal, chick peas, or spinach. Personally I the dal and chick peas taste awesome! The naan bread was VERYBIG and FLUFFY! Also the 2 Kabobs were big and delicious! The person who served me and my friend was a very genuine person. He said if there was anything we didn’t like in our order, he would change it. Compared to Kabobish, which is located on Pleasant Hill Rd. near Gwinnett Place Mall, this place is much better! You get more food and better service!

Been wanting to try their buffet. Tonight we stopped in and even though we had missed the buffet, we ordered off the menu and it was really good. We will be back to try different things. Definitely considering Christmas Day to hear their live music. Chicken 65, Goat Korma, Afghani bread and the Afghan Rice were wonderful. Thank you

I have to concur with previous posts, this place is a real find. The owners are very friendly, it’s a shame that more people were not here, we were one of 3 tables at 5:30pm on a Sunday. My hubby had the lamb boti and loved it. I’m a spice wimp and asked for a very mild goat korma, the owner made it for me special, it was very flavorful, but still hotter than I typically like it. The Afganhi bread is awesome, first time having it, but I think I prefer it to typical naan bread. I’m used to the Indian rice pudding, the Afghan version is called Sheer, it is much smoother and very creamy, sweet, and delicious. This restaurant has only been open for 2 months, but I hope they make it.

Ended up going with a group of 8. Food was excellent esp their biryani, kadai lamb, chapli kabab. Top it off with their kheer(sheer) or sheer chai. I would come back here again. Highly recommend it.

Very, very good. I don’t have much experience with Afghani food, but this food was excellent. Definitely a unique spice and flavor profile, somewhere between Persian, Indian, and Middle Eastern(which, of course, makes sense). The Afghan bread was worth the visit alone, but I really enjoyed the boti, the channa, and the rice was perfect.

Never heard of this place before and if it wasn’t for the late lunch meeting, I never would have visited this place. Wow, glad the meeting was here because the food is great. Fantastic bread, chicken kabob’s, lamb chops, a beef dish which was so good, trust me, everything was tremendous. We met the chef and he truly loves cooking. They are adding an all-you-can-eat buffet for lunch. I am not sure if they can maintain the quality but I will give them a try next week.

This place is amazing! The lamb kebabs, rice and bread were tremendous! This family run Afghani restaurant is the real thing. Say hello to the owners — Noor and Bilqees — if you don’t know what to order they can make recommendations. Wonderful food!
