Elina gave our four year old a GREAT cut! She was sweet and made our little guy very handsome.

I enjoy getting my hair done at Regis! I feel as if every hairdresser remembers your name & always greets you when you enter. Renee always does a fabulous job with my hair! She never disappoints me! She has both colored & cut my hair — of which I may say, always exceeds my expectations. My mom usually sees Kathryn, who is also the manager at Regis. & she has no complaints!

My mom has been getting her hair cut here for years. And, so when it comes time for my brother & I to get our hair cut, there is nowhere we trust more than this place. By now, all the hairstylists in the salon know who we are. We’re on first name basis with each other already. I could give you the names of the ladies my mom, brother, & I go to. But really, there’s no need for that simply because they are all great hairstylists there. Of course though, they each have different styles to the way they cut hair & have different things that they are better at. Not to mention, they are all very nice. It seems obvious that there may be different opinions. Honestly, I’ve been coming to Regis since about 2006& I don’t really know who the previous Unilocaler went to & had such a horrible experience. But, every business has its flaws & if they did indeed have problems before, I’m pretty sure they have figured them out by now & I can for the most part guarantee you that the salon is much better now than previously stated.

This place is lucky I gave them any stars at all… When I was in college(read: when I was poor as dirt) I trusted my local Regis mall salon to cut my hair. They weren’t the cheapest place, but I could certainly afford it. So the other day I needed my hair cut and stumbled upon a Regis at the Kukui Nut Grove shopping center. Yay, a place I can trust! NAY They were friendly and nice as I booked an appointment for later that day and when I got there… but that’s where it ends. I just wanted 1 ½ inches taken off the bottom strait across… how hard is that? Apparently I should have just asked if they had a 3 year old with learning scissors in the back to do the job. My hair was washed pretty standardly and then the cutting began. I saw far more than 1 ½ inches coming off. At least 3 inches on some parts. When she was done hacking she took off my cape thing and told me I was all set… all set complete with wet hair. I asked them if she was going to dry it and she told me in a oh-so-friendly-like-your-placating-a-child voice that drying is considered a STYLE and I didn’t book a style, just a cut. . . . . . . AREYOUSERIOUS??? At that point I just wanted to get the hell out of there but the horror wasn’t done just yet. I paid for my $ 30+ haircut and went home to finish the job. After drying my hair I looked in the mirror in disbelief… it was crooked… crooked… all she had to do was cut strait across and she managed to mess that up. I went in the next day to talk to the manager who, thank god, was not a complete idiot and realized that indeed, my hair was crooked. They offered to fix it but I told them that I didn’t want more mistakes and I wanted my money back which she did without further question. One star for the manager being accommodating on my refund. Minus 4 star for Candy the hair-hacker.
