I am so happy to write a review for this Harley’s. My wife, family and I were regulars at their coconut market place location. Unfortunately the place closed due to construction, and that construction is still ongoing. My wife and I were extremely sad, because in our book Harley’s was the best deal for the greatest food on Kauai, hands down, end of story. Some of you fellow-​foodies may have your favorite places, and then all of the sudden they are gone because of whatever reason. Ours was due to construction. :(
Then one day my job took me through a construction zone, and I happened on a detour that took me through an area I usually never go through. On the detour I noticed a sign that looked so familiar, but definitely out of place. I had to turn around to see if it was possible. It was early in morning but the hard working, awesome and amazing owners were inside prepping for the day. I nearly did a backflip! To say I freaked out was a little bit of an understatement. The only thing I could compare it to was a friend coming back to life! I made plans that day to surprise my wife. So I had her come to town, an hour away, just to «have lunch» with me. She had no clue where we were going to eat. She was so excited when she found out that she insisted we return that night with the kids! When we returned to the area that night we told the kids we were going to a place down the road, a place my kids do not like at all. They were extremely upset, and pleaded for me to go anywhere but there. I told them sorry I just have to go there! Then we drove down to Harley’s and the kids started freaking out! Yes, it is that good.
One of the things my wife and I are fondest of is the homemade BBQ sauce and tartar sauce for dipping our fries in. You have to dip the fries in the BBQ then in tartar, then enjoy!
So happy Harley’s is back!

Recommended by the girls working at the Harley Davidson of Kauai, we stumbled across this newly built little food stop. We were told that they had recently moved from the coconut marketplace. As we ordered at the counter, I pulled out money to pay for the meal and the counter was so sticky I could hardly get the bills to detach. The only seating option is outside at picnic tables under an awning, the weather was ideal. We ordered a pork bbq rib plate and a beef bbq rib plate, which came with a few side options. We both went for French fries and a salad. Our food was delivered to our table about 10 min after ordering, the ribs were so [temperature] hot that we ate the sides first. The bbq sauce was like a Memphis style, and the meat was fall off the bone delicious! I would recommend this little dine & dash place to anyone looking for good eats. The bathroom isn’t easily accessible, placed in the back of the kitchen and prep area, and it took the employees a couple moments to move boxes and obstacles from the floor for me to be able to wash my hands before I ate.

Definitely off the beaten path. Definitely worth it. Trust the GPS and go there for great food, great service, and great value.

This is a «must stop» whenever in the Puhi area. There is a dish for every appetite from their salads through their burgers (yes loco moco’s too) to their awesome Korean Kalbi with everything in between. You won’t find anywhere else in Lihue with a wide selection of local, home cooked goodness.
If you’re a visitor to the island and want to experience local food with a flair, you have to try Harley’s, you’ll definitely want to come back for more.

First time in Kauai… came to this place and wow! Just wow! Food was great, price was great, staff was very friendly! Expect us back for more!!!

We are tourists that chose not to fall into the pricey tourist traps and ventured to try this olace and omg I am glad we did! Service was great and the food was amazing! Food prices are extremely cheap.

Nicely prepared chicken wrap. Very good flavor and definitely the right (tasty) combination of fresh veggies and sauce.

Their sautéed Mahi is amazing and service is great! The atmosphere is mellow and gives that drive through feel without losing any food quality. Very clean for a small window joint. Definitely a favorite for me, I want to try everything on the menu. :)

I mostly patronize island eateries and found Harley’s to have the potential to be the go-​to place with time and adjustments. Great menu selection with orders delivered to the table by a male employee (Note: NO butt cheeks seen). The fries that comes with the Hamburger was great, the burger patty seems to have a filler and was not juicy; also no sauce or mayo on the bun that was burnt. The Spinach Roll was nice to look at and the accommodated Pesto Sauce was a good add to the not too tasteful roll. A nice covered seating area complete with chickens and flies is available.
Other «turn offs» were no ice for the bottled/​canned drinks and no straws. No bathroom facilities available for the customers so be sure wash your hands and use the restroom elsewhere before getting to Harley’s or order your food to go. I assumed that ALL restaurants were required to have restrooms for their customers but I was wrong. Unless liquor is served, customer restrooms are not required. Restrooms are required for employees.

Came all the way to Lihue because I totally missed the food at coconut market place! Food is always awesome however I don’t appreciate eating and seeing these young girls bending over to wipe tables with shorts so high you can see their butt cheeks.
