I had a very challenging vaping experience in Kauai. First, one of my coils broke on my RDA. Fortunately I brought a backup tank. Then my snow wolf mod got splashed with some ocean water and simply died. At that point, I began searching for a vape shop in the area.
Fat Clouds was the closest place (30 minute drive from Sheraton Kauai in Poipu Beach). I called twice and it went straight to a cellphone voicemail. Not a good sign. But, the guy called back shortly thereafter and confirmed that they are in fact there and are open, so I decided to take a ride to town.
FYI, the shop has no sign and is located upstairs above the shoe repair shop. Wish I had known that as I walked around the building 2 times trying to find it…
First impressions when I walked into the plume filled shop was «shady». It was kind of a mess and they really don’t really have much of a selection of mods and rda’s. However, after a minute or two, they warmed up and took great care of me. They rebuilt my cool and sold me a clone mod to hold me over for the rest of my trip. As they say, looks can be deceiving, and that was the case here.
I’d give 3 stars for the actual shop, but considering that it’s the only one in Lihue and just one of only 2 – 3 shops on the island, that pushes them up to 4 stars.
Some suggestions for the owners:
1) Advertise. Find a way to make it easier for tourists to become aware of your shop. Also, enhance your Unilocal page and overall online presence. Your website is pretty much useless as of 10÷23÷15.
2) Put up a sign and make it more clear that your shop is upstairs.
3) Clean up the shop and make it more welcoming. Get rid of the junk and just make it nicer.
If you improve upon these things, you will likely get more business.
For those of you looking for a place for a quick rebuild, some local e-​juices, or a mod to make it through vacation, don’t hesitate. The guys are nice. And kudos on the coil rebuild… Very well done!

But they deserve one, and I say only because I did not feel welcomed in the shop, unlike most places I have been… They had no interest in me being there at all! I was told
«You can only try flavors if your are a dripper» !!! What!!! I have been vaping for well over a year and have a very nice tank and mod. Never been to a shop and not tried before I buy! They had 6 choices if 12ml didn’t bother to get up to show me where they were located… just disappointed they didn’t have the «aloha» feel I get everywhere else on this beautiful island!

Solid shop with BOMB Local made juices. Mechanical mods Is the thing here. Looking for a rebuild? Come check them out. 100% vg and other ranges as well. If you’ve never tried any of thess juices your definitely missing out. Highly recommend this place for anyone beginner or advanced. Very warm environment very family oriented. You’ll be welcomed in like part of the fam
