This place sucked at cutting my hair and charged me a lot of $. 1 * for the nice staff.

First salon I have tried since moving from Florida. Receptionist was very friendly over the phone and was able to accommodate me the very same day. The staff is very nice, salon is clean and organized, and the atmosphere is not ‘stuffy.’ I had a trim and highlights and Ellie did a very nice job of listening to what I wanted and I love the results. Price was also reasonable. I will definitely be back.

I absolutely love this salon! Liz is my stylist and she always delivers exactly what I need — and even if I’m not sure what to do with my hair she is there to provide the inspiration and expertise that only a seasoned professional could provide!
My husband and my 3-​year old son also get their hair cut at Vito Anthony — it is a salon that works beautifully for my entire family.

I thought this place would be good, but boy was I wrong. The owner (Liz), was supposed to give me blond highlights. Instead, I wound up with slightly lightened roots and red ends. She tried to fix it, but to no avail. My color before was brown. It is now a light brown. It doesn’t look like I have highlights at all. There is no blond in my hair. I also wanted a fun piece of color in my hair. (I’ve had this done at other salons, with great results). She dyed the piece, but with ¾ inch of root still showing. She doesn’t know how to do hair. If anyone asks about this so called salon, I will tell them to run.

I have been searching for a good stylist for a long time. I had given up until I met Sarina and Liz at Vito Anthony. The attention they give coupled with their ability to listen to your requests is just amazing. I have been back twice in three week and have to say I will continue to come back from now on. I highly recommend them!

As a man who actually wants something more that a roll of the dice at a big chain salon, finding one that I can actually be comfortable at is not an easy thing. Vito Anthony Salon, and Liz G are just what a guy like me needs. I don’t need a huge process… I need a stylist who understands basic haircuts for men. Liz is hands down the best hair stylist I have ever seen. I have no reason to ever go to anyone else. For the record, I have known Liz (the owner of the Salon), for a few years, and was thrilled she opened her own place. I have never had a bad haircut, and I’m a picky customer. If you are looking for a place to go, as a guy, I can’t say enough good things about her. But my wife is the one who got me going there. She has been seeing Liz for years, and would NEVER go anywhere else. Thanks Liz for the best service and professionalism, and just for being cool and friendly.

My sister-​in-​law and I wandered into Vito Anthony during «Wine About Winter» a few weeks ago and were charmed by the friendly staff and comfortable ambiance, so we booked appointments on the spot.
When we showed up on the evening of our appointment (5pm on a Friday), we came with glasses of wine in hand (courtesy of the wonderful owner of Viva La Vine two doors down, and yes, we clearly like wine) and were greeted by the lovely owner Liz and her sweet associate, Sarah. The fact that they didn’t judge us for bringing our own booze was certainly appreciated, and Liz was more than gracious when halfway through my appointment, my spazzy self accidentally spilled half my glass all over the chair, wall, and floor. Oops! Next time I guess I’d better bring white wine, instead.
Anyway, I will keep the rest of this review geared toward my experience with Liz, who was absolutely awesome! From the moment I sat down, she made me feel very comfortable by asking questions and making suggestions according to my responses. She recommended adding a color I had never had before and I imagine the look on my face showed my uncertainty, so she was nice enough to show me a swatch and explain why she suggested that color. I felt as though I could trust her, being that she is not only an experienced stylist but also the owner of the salon, so I told her to go for it.
Long story short, Liz went to work adding highlights and lowlights while providing enjoyable conversation. Once the color was done, she trimmed my curly locks like a pro and then was kind enough to straighten my hair so I could easily see the cut and color. I walked out loving my new ‘do and really stoked to have found an awesome stylist and great salon just a few blocks from my house. I will definitely be back!
P. S. Sarah did an awesome job on my sister’s hair, too! Her cut and highlights were perfect.

In a town where hair salons keep cropping up, this one is a winner! Liz (the owner) cut my son’s hair a few weeks ago — which came out fantastic… and what’s better, it’s growing out beautifully.
I decided to give her a try today and I am equally impressed. I had some issues with my hair — and she recommended I take a couple of inches off, and suggested a «plan» for what we could do in the months to come. I love what she did. Already booked an appointment for color.
Liz is knowledgeable and obviously loves what she does.
I’d highly recommend the salon to anyone looking for a fresh, new look — or just simply a good hair cut.
