I had a horrible experience with this doctor after my previous doctor (his partner) retired. Dr. Matseshe was pleasant when I met with him and he assured me that he had read all the way through and was familiar with my chart from the previous doctor. He told me that he was going to continue all of my previous medications and that he would send in for refills. After 10 days and not receiving my refills, I called the office and found out that not only had he not ordered any refills, he refused to continue with all my medications without notifying me. The worst part was that he called me up and was asking me for medical reasons why I was prescribed those medications and I told him I wasn’t a doctor and he should read my chart and if he had more questions, to contact my previous doctor. The call went on and on and I finally told him that I had to hang up, but still he persisted. The really unprofessional thing was that I have never had to have an argument with a doctor over the phone and he persisted in repeatedly calling and calling me to the point it was harassment. I finally received two refills, and they were both incorrect with the wrong dosages and instructions… the doctor lied when he said he had read my chart and was going to continue everything as previously prescribed. I also had scheduled a colonoscopy with the office and when I called to cancel the colonoscopy after the argument with the doctor, they said they had no record that any procedure was scheduled for me and furthermore, the doctor never does procedures on the day that I had originally set the procedure up for.
