My daughter had an appointment there before braces. They recommended that she get TEETH pulled. I got a second opinion real quick! Turns out, she just needed spacers. Who jumps to pulling children’s teeth?! Needless to say, we did NOT proceed with this office!

Smiley, happy, healthy, beautiful mouth & teeth are what I am enjoying today! And feeling a bit more educated, too — cuz Doctor Hernandez gets down like I do with the spitting of knowledge. And has more of an Integrative Holistic approach to Dentistry — regarding prevention, nutrition, water drinking, & mentioning of high quality supplements (I just wished they were retailed at the Office — that would be more convenient). The Doctor is intelligent, takes care & time to communicate w the patients, is unrushed & thorough, has a very gentle demeanor (I’ve also observed interactions with Children — I was impressed!, much closer to Angel than I!), steady /​capable /​confident hands, with an eye for beauty. And is tri-​lingual, I believe: English, Spanish, and (imperfect) Portuguese. Dentist for 25+ years, small practice owner (in North Suburb of Chicago) for 15+.. Did I mention I also love his Staff?- Tootsies! :-)
I have been to very high-​end, fancy offices (which this is not, although located in Lovely Libertyville, IL) — but nothing about appearance matters more to me than personality, aptitude, great results (did I mention the expert repair done post camping trip chipped tooth?), and cleanliness /​sanitation.- oh, & the office has ‘clean’ natural soap for Patient & Staff hand-​washing. Super pleased. Will be back — in 6 months (but hopefully not before). ;-)

I’ve been coming to this dentist for about a year now and they have done wonders, after my first visit which included full X-​rays and Cleaning, my mouth felt like a new mouth literally, although I was found to be in need of a few extractions, mainly a bad molar and two wisdom teeth, I was initially in fear of such a procedure but the Dentist & assistants are so nice, careful, patient, and wiling to answer all my questions that I felt very comfortable… I love that he gets this upset look on his face every time I tell him I haven’t been flossing,. Anyway so as of now I would have to say he and his staff have been great! It is a bilingual staff and even though I speak english I appreciate that. If your in lake county I would recommend him (he accepts multiple insurance as I’ve changed companies since I’ve been with him).
