Liberty Trading Post ACE Hardware

A rare store that packs an enormous number of products in a small space. They invariably have what I need in hardware, outdoor furniture, camping supplies, rug cleaners, and other categories. Even more unusual, there are lots of sales people on the floor who are ready and eager to help you find something in the cornucopia of items.

I love the Liberty trading Post. Everyone that works there is knowledgeable and helpful, they have great products and fair prices. Frank in the paint department is the best! There is no need to go to the big box store when we have a store like this in our back yard. Shop local!

Just wanted to boost my review up to five stars, based on my latest visit to this store.
I had a special need. You know, a hardware-​related need. This is the kind of situation where Home Depot would fall flat on its face. I needed to hook up something… well, the details are irrelevant. HD’s staff of bumbling nincompoops would be totally incapable of dealing with a situation like this. So I went to the Trading Post.
Well, first of all, as I said in the past, they have EVERYTHING. I mean, when it comes to hardware, I don’t think there’s a nut, screw or whatsis in the world that they don’t have, and if they don’t have it they’ll tell you where to get it.
Also, their people are helpful. This guy in their hardware dept. just took me from aisle to aisle to get me the stuff I needed for my complicated hookup project. And the prices of what I got were comparable to what you’d pay at Home Depot. The difference is SERVICE.
Also, they’ve got housewares, coffee makers and so on, which you don’t have at Home Depot.
OK, the prices are better at HD for gardening related stuff. And maybe if you were going to buy a snow blower or something, HD is probably better. But the Trading Post is really a hardware-shopper’s paradise.
