My new addiction! Found this place while driving around this past July. Their ice cream is so good! It is creamy and soft. Most small businesses like this don’t have quality products, but The Twist does! I love how they twist two favors together! My favorite has to be mint and chocolate which reminds me of Girl Scout Thin Mint cookies! The staff here is friendly! One thing I would advise people of who haven’t been here before is that as of this past summer they can only accept cash. This is standard in small businesses. Trust me it’s worth the trip to the ATM. Little kids love this place. They have a tree that kids climb on and plenty of grass for them to run around on. It’s right next to a golf course and the area is pretty quiet. Will be a customer for life!

Great place for ice cream. Larger portion sizes than most places, small sizes are plenty. More personal customer oriented setting that is quite and family friendly. Not an overblown tacky commercial settings like some in the area. plan ahead and bring cash, unfortunately they don’t a ccept credit or debit cards

Had coupon from entertainment book so thought we’d check it out. It was quite busy. Checked online on Facebook but was not updated to current flavors. I order black forest Sunday and my husband got an arctic something. His was great. Mine had an awesome brownie in the bottom but the cherry part of my black forest was maraschino cherries, not a cherry pie filling like I expected. Honestly that took it from probably fab to gross. Not sure if that is normally how it is made. There is not a posted menu, other than specials, until you get up to order and there was a whole baseball team behind us so I just ordered quickly. Ice cream was good though. So for a half off coupon the price is hard to beat and it was close to home. My husband said bathroom was clean and even had a baby changing station.

Been exploring the dozens of ice cream choices in Mason and West Chester since we moved here last summer. Stumbled on this gem driving by one night and wondering why so many people were sitting outside a house. Love that they also serve beer! Not too many flavors but they almost make up for it with toppings and dips. Plus they always have an interesting flavor of the week. Staff is super friendly and service is fast. Real small town feel. One of our top 3 go-tos in the area. :)

Great little house turned into an ice cream shop with patio seating. I seriously drove right by it the first time not expecting it. Great aeating and interesting creations especially for kids! Get The Boss for a tasty heath bar treat

A little creamy whip adjacent to the Green Crest Golf Club. Very nice staff, prices comparable to similar establishments, and a good variety of sweet treats to choose from. I went with a basic vanilla cone, and it was yummy. Be aware that Twist does not serve anything other than desserts(no hot dogs or anything like that, though I think they have chips). Also be aware that they do serve bottled beer ;) What I like most about this place is its location. It has a lot of green space around it and sits a decent distance away from the road. So, it is fairly quiet and there is room for kids to run around and play. There is also way more seating here than at other creamy whips, which is definitely a plus!

Great place. Everyone is familiar with the«other» independent ice cream shop in the West Chester/Liberty Township area. The Twist is a pretty awesome rival. We’ve been going for two seasons now. They have a great selection of their own flavors as well as different types of sundaes. Here’s the deal — The Twist is always quicker, cheaper and less crowded than the«other» place. But the kicker is this — It’s just as good as the«other» place but you get the bonus of less people. Honestly, the video games and quarter rides do NOT enhance our ice cream experience. They actually make it more of a pain in the… The Twist doesn’t have the giant menu that the«other» place has but I guarantee, you will find something you’ll love. We’ve never left The Twist unhappy or feeling anything less than like we’re going to explode. The Twist is actually a house that was converted into an Ice Cream Shop. There is no truly indoor seating, however that sort of changed this year. They cleaned up the garage, removed/opened the doors and moved some seating into it. Now The Twist has covered seating and a toilet as well. Who doesn’t like ice cream just because it’s raining out? It may be raining but it’s still awesome ice cream!!! And who doesn’t bring their kids anywhere without at least one of them having to go «potty real bad»? And naturally — like dominoes — they all«need» to take the standard toilet tour. But guess what? While they’re mesmerized by the sound of a flushing toilet, you’re eating awesome ice cream. Would I go back? Stupid question to ask myself. It’s The Twist. We go all of the time. I don’t always Check-In because by the time I think of it, I’m nose deep in awesome ice cream… yeah… ice cream… you know you want it!

I like the surprise that there is a little ice cream shop so close to the house. A converted house on a nice wooded lot. When the sun gets past 5pm, nice cool area in the shade. Totally handicap accessible and table accomodations.
