I was here with my husband and Mother in law. The food was good, but it took a very long time. The mac and cheese was very mushy. My problem was the waitress. She didn’t converse with us, but I heard her tell another table that her uncle owns the restaurant. I also heard her tell someone at the table(jokingly) to go F themselves.

Checked Unilocal for local restaurants after finishing work for the day, was in watervillle from Minnesota. This place did not disappoint, I had the cabin burger with sweet potato fries and fresh brewed iced tea. The burger was on a pretzel bun and loaded with tasty bbq, the fries came with a delicious caramel sauce as well. Originally from Texas and I can say this bbq is on point! Good food, great service and atmoaphere. Supposedly they run out of food because they are so busy, I was eating lunch around 2:30 and it wasn’t too oacked. They were also adding an addition on the the restaurant to accommodate more people!

We were here last night and they ran out of a ton of food. Ribs, mac n cheese, baked potatoes… ridiculous! How do you run out of that much food!!! And from what I hear… this happens often! They seem to be expanding, but if they run out of food that much, I don’t seem they staying open. Anyhow, what we did have was decent. The brisket was great! The chicken was moist, but other parts were dry. My husband had the New York steak and said it was fair at best. The side salads were pretty generic. The garlic mashed potatoes weren’t very good at all. They were also cold. Our server was overwhelmed because they were short staffed supposedly. The bar took FOREVER to get our drinks. They did last call at 7:30. Thought that was REALLY bizarre. Overall, I wouldn’t go back. The place seems cool, but I think they have some serious things to work out. I’m in the industry, and things with the service etc were so bad that things on our bills should have been comped. The waitress kept apologizing, but it wasn’t entirely her fault. It was everybody. Bummer.

We have met friends here a couple times. The first time was a Friday evening and we were disappointed we could not get BBQ. The burgers and sandwiches we got that evening were all good so we finally made it out on a Saturday for the BBQ. I am a BBQ snob and was not disappointed. The dark meat chicken was juicy and Smokey. The ribs were tender, juicy, a flavorful dry rub, and all around delicious. The brisket could have stood for another 30 – 60 mind on the pit. Flavor was awesome but it did need a knife to cut. Smoked kielbasa was on point as was the pulled pork. The sides that came with the BBQ were good although probably didn’t live up to the standards of the smoked meat. I can forgive that as the meat is what I was there for. They could probably use some sauce options for those inclined to need sauce for their BBQ but really the meat didn’t need it. Oh also should add that our first visit we split the fried pickles(some of the best I’ve ever had) and the fried green bean apps. Both were home runs. The place is in the middle of nowhere but is a real gem. I hope someday they can find a pit master to not lose the quality of the BBQ, but offer it more frequently. It’s definitely worth the trek out there on Saturdays. Wanna check it out when the patio is rocking in the warmer months.

A great find in the country. Great food and service. I had the clam chowder special and it was the best I have ever had.

If you like BBQ, this is a great place to stop by! The burgers are all good. Done the way you want ‘em and they are belt busters. BBQ brisket was very tasty and tender. Just enough sauce to enhance the natural meat flavor. Prices are very reasonable, especially the weekday specials! Kinda noisy and often busy, the place has been discovered. Totally remodeled inside since the old days with a lot more still being done inside and out. We are pretty frequent customers. Don’t run in there and expect to fly in and out quickly… they are very often busy and that is for a good reason, slow down and enjoy some really good food!

Always great food and food specials. The waitstaff is friendly and usually busy in this place, so have a little patience. Some foods in particular that I like are any of the burgers and the BBQ’ed brisket and BBQ’ED ribs. The pulled pork is also pretty tasty.

All I can say is, Wow! This place is out in the middle of nowhere, a big beautiful building(and looks like they are adding on?). It was a Thursday night and they were packed. We were a party of 6 and had to wait about 5 – 7 min. for a table. Food choices all have cute names, I had the Herbin’ Legend, which was two 4 oz. garlic and herb marinated chicken breast. Very tasty and moist. Nice big salad and baked potato. A big hit with some of the ladies were the sweet potato waffle fries. Will definitely go again!

We visited twice. On the first visit I ordered the«Cabin burger» figuring that the name indicated a signature burger, something that would set it apart from other burgers. Its a burger patty, pulled barbecue pork, and onion petals. It was good but it was nothing special because its been done many times at other burger joints and the same holds true with the rest of their menu. Again I want to say it was good, but nothing special. Its worth mentioning that despite the amount of money the owner invested in the place it has no foyer. As soon as the door opens you are standing in the dining area and the cold air rushes into the place. We felt strong drafts every time the door opened even though we were seated against the far wall across from the door. The owner has tried to mitigate this by installing a blow down fan mounted over the door but it does little to stop the cold. On both visits the service was extremely slow. The first visit was during a weekday and there were only 3 other customers, yet we were there nearly an hour before we were served our meal-2 «cabin» burgers. The second visit was a carbon copy of the first.

This place is in the middle of nowhere… And it’s amazing. I really wasn’t sure what to even expect, but it was new and clean and the staff was really nice. The menu is pretty expansive. They seem to do some in house BBQ, and the glorious smell of that waifs through the dining area. I ordered the French onion soup and the steak salad. Both huge. Both out of this world. The rye bread in the glorious melty crock of soup was still a touch crisp. It was heaven. I’m still dreaming of it. The streak salad was huge, and the steak was just a tiny bit burnt, but still wonderful. It was served with this sort of relished ranch dressing, everyone at my table asked for extra, it was addicting. My only tip for this salad would be to use fresh jalapeño and not jarred. I can’t wait to go back here.

Went today and had the french onion soup, the cabin burger, and fries. And I was impressed. The burger had a great flavor. This place has huge portion sizes and I do not think there is even an option for small on the menu. It is out in the middle of nowhere but you can tell they put a lot of money in the place and are adding on a huge expansion. I think they only opened a few months ago. Would highly recommend to others.
