This is one of my favorite places to get gasoline in the Hamburg area. It’s conveniently located right off of the interstate and on my way when I’m in the area, headed to anywhere in the Hamburg. I’ve never had an issue with or heard anything bad about Thornton’s gasoline quality and since I’ve canceled my Costco membership, I’ll probably be stopping in here more than usual. Besides, Costco was a bit out of the way, just to get gasoline. Sometimes this Thornton is right around the same rate for gas per gallon as Costco anyways. If discounts and rewards matter to you, get the rewards card. I hate keeping up with so many cards, so I can’t elaborate on that too much. I know that the rewards card includes a frequent beverage consumer program. I used to burn that advantage program up months ago, at another Thornton location that was on my way to work, but I quit my Diet Coke habit and I only stop in at gas stations specifically for gas.

Okay so, the last review I had made was out of relief that this place was one of the cheapest to buy gas. That was NOT the case today. The gas today was around $ 2.189 per gallon and Kroger apparently was $ 1.97 per gallon. UGH! Now I am going to have to check gas buddy every time I buy gas, from now on, to make sure that this is the cheaper of the two locations.

Let me start off by saying Thornton in general is my go to gas station/quickie mart. I prefer their gas and their 89 cent any size fountain drinks. I usually partake in the 44 oz diet something and add a squirt or two of flavor. It is normally pretty darn clean and staff are super friendly. This one is in a great location because it has 2 different ways to get out of the parking lot if you are in a hurry.
