This place is absolutely amazing. The Taco Burgers are a must have if you’re new. They’re so amazing. This place is absolutely nothing like Taco Bell or your typical Mexican restaurant. It’s fast food with a drive thru so it’s good if you’re in a hurry. All around a great place to eat at any time.

I love Taco Tico. I’ve eaten many different locations of the years, from Corbin to Richmond. I really miss having more locations. I love their tacos. The service is always speedy and friendly.

Barely edible steak tacos, this was easily the worst Mexican food I’ve ever eaten. I’d rather go hungry.

ohhh happy day because today I went to Taco Tico with The Squad and we rolled up looking to get sorted out with that good Tico and boy did we ever get sorted BABY I got 2 bean and cheese burritos and some Mexifries and the Squad got some of them good soft shell tacos baby and I think some chips and cheese also and one Squad member asked for a water which is normally 25 cents and the nice lady gave it to her for free!!! They did have a claw machine with a bunch of spooky pumpkins and I didn’t like that much but anyway we like Tico and they are nice there and also we saw a guy with tattoos on his face and I saw the urinal over flow but I didn’t have anything to do with this. Ok then see all my friends at Tico again soon bye…

All I can say is I love this place. I live on the south end of Lexington and regularly drive past 6 – 7 taco bells and several other«Mexican» restaurants because I love it so much. The quality, selection of food, and staff are the reason my family and I have been and will continue to come here for years… I only hope they stick around and hopefully open up a few more on the south side! I personally think they would have great success. If you haven’t been check it out!

Best fast food taco restaurant in town! I’ve been going here for many years, the staff are all VERY nice & friendly, & treat you right every time. The tacos are amazing. The chicken quesedillas are SO good! It’s very clean & well-run, & they obviously care about customers & quality! The quality of their food is what makes them so good. This is the standard of what fast food restaurants used to be, fast, friendly, affordable, & taste! Keep up the great work Taco Tico.

So far only tried the Sancho with smothered cheese, and it was very good! Can’t beat it for $ 4.28 inc tax either:) if you’re wondering, their sauce(mild) is a vinegary red sauce.

This has to be the cheapest(keep that in mind) best location in Lexington! It is fast food and if this place branched out, see ya later taco bell!!! Love it for the price and taste

Granted, it’s not exactly like dining at Malones, but Taco Tico is definitely an establishment in Lex with yummy Mexican fast food. I always get a taco burger & Mexican fries, but I’ve also had a few of the burritos & tacos. It’s always hot & delicious. See you when I’m back in town, TT!!!

This is the best fast food place I’ve ever been to… and I hate fast food. Its close to restaurant quality food. I seriously don’t understand how Taco Bell even stays in business being near this place.

This is fast food done right! I usually get decent service, and the Sunday special of .89 cent bean burritos and crispy tacos can’t be beat! This is an institution that I grew up on from the 70’s. Despite new ownership, there is a very obvious effort to keep the menu as true to the old days as possible. I love this place!

There’s nothing like a good taco burger and some chips. It’s one of the few Taco Ticos left and there’s reason why. It reminds me of my childhood and it still tastes the same. It’s a nice break from Taco Bell(and better in my opinion) and McDonald’s sometimes! The staff is surprisingly amiable for a drive through! We have met a few lovely folks through the window that we still give chummy hellos to. Never had bad service.

Taco Tico takes me back to childhood. Once upon a time in the 70’s there were several around and I thought the flavor of their tacos was just fantastic… very different than anything else in the category. Now, this is the only store around that I know of, and the flavor is exactly the same. When Taco Tico is on their game, the corn taco shells are fresh and crunchy, the beef filling is hot and delicious, the lettuce cold and crisp, and the mild sauce has a wonderful flavor. All those elements together puts a Taco Bell taco to shame. The taste just doesn’t compare. There have been times when I’ve gotten stale taco shells here, but it’s something I’m willing to chance. :) I’m happy this Taco Tico is still around and hasn’t changed from what I knew growing up. 4 stars for nostalgia and flavor.

Everything here tastes like they put ketchup in everything. Except the cinnamon chips. They were very good

We went into Taco Tico expecting it to be in par or maybe even slightly better than Taco Bell, boy were we surprised. Each person ordered the number two smothered and what we got was a burrito like flour tortilla smothered with cheese and a not to salty extra hot sauce. The tacos were delicious as well especially when topped in any of their sauces. I’ll definitely be back in the future.

Hey friends, sometimes you just a need a change of pace. This is exactly the reason for Taco Tico’s existence. Generally when you’re craving some fast food of the Tex-Mex variety, you head for the bell. But that’s not always appetizing, and they don’t have the warm friendly people of Taco Tico. I’ve come in here a few times for my lunch break and they get my order to me within 10 minutes. It’s quick and definitely good service. The prices are very reasonable for what you get and really you can’t go wrong. What makes their fare stand apart from the bunch is just the different flavor. You can read other reviews and take what they say about quality with some truth, but I’m really keen on the different taste. You may like it, you may not. But it’s definitely worth a try. You just may come to love it as an occasional treat.

I went here for lunch thinking it’d be great to get some tacos at the drive thru. I was really disappointed in the quality– worse than even Taco Bell. The«beef» is a mushy substance with a consistency more like refried beans than beef. I had to throw these out and get a sandwich from somewhere else. I won’t be back. The lady at the window was nice, so no complaints about service.

I like Taco Tico better than Taco Bell. I had their taco salad and its really good and they still let you get salad dressing with it unlike Taco Bell. Have dines here several times.
